You Did Good you did Good... ❤️❤️❤️ 11/3/25 - Jimmy Ahhh Jimmys one of the most popular places to get an authentic Chicago dog but today I did not receive that instead I received some Wisconsin madness with no sports peppers.. oh God help me Please as I thought to myself. I never thought I'll see the day but hey at least it wasn't all bad at least they didn't put ketchup on it. That would be the only reason it's not getting a zero. We shall meet again Jimmy, Mark My Words. 😤

Short, simple, and to the point. My favorite hotdogs in the city. Established in the 1950s and I'm not sure the quality of ingredients have diminished since then. Be prepared, they mean business, no fancy foie gras with truffle butter hotdogs here. Limited toppings, amazing flavor you don't get anywhere else, a mild excellent snap, and you guessed it...no ketchup in the building. The fresh cut fries are a masterpiece.

The best dogs in the city, and I've been to most of the good spots! There's something different about these. They have more of a "snap" to them in every bite, and it compliments the steamed bun perfectly. The fries are really good- make sure you order a cup of their homemade habanero hot sauce. Absolutely delicious with a nice thick consistency. They're also cash only, so keep that in mind. Always the worth the drive to eat here!! A true piece of Chicago history.

Jimmy's Red Hots lived up to the hype! The hot dogs were exactly as I imagined – perfectly steamed, with a snap to the casing. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the fries were crispy and golden. The atmosphere was classic Chicago diner – bustling, friendly, and full of locals. Eating there truly made me feel like I was experiencing a piece of the city's soul. Highly recommend for a classic Chicago hot dog experience.

Chicago staple. Delicious polishes and hotdogs. The fries are SO good. We tailgated our lunch. We drove over an hour to get there. It's my childhood hotdog joint. The area/parking lot may not be the most pleasant but if you mind your business and just eat your food it will be fine.
