“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this theater. While I usually prefer The Cadillac Palace, this theater is equally impressive. The staff is friendly and efficient, the services are quick, and the theater is spotlessly clean. The Indian architecture is also a highlight, adding to the overall delight of the experience.”

“Excellent night out, we were sitting in the upper most balcony and the view was perfect. There were plenty of staff at every corner and we were greeted and escorted through every door. The lighting and sound were wonderful. It’s a really beautiful place to see shows. This is not our first show there and it won’t be our last.”

“Wow! This historic theater is absolutely gorgeous The Nederlander Theatre is one of Chicago’s architectural gems that opened in 1926. Walking inside felt like stepping back in time, with ornate details, grand ceilings, and elegant decor that made me feel unworthy but also super appreciative of life. We came to watch Kinky Boots and absolutely loved it. From the opening number to the final curtain call, the show was energetic, heartfelt, funny, and full of incredible music. The cast brought so much personality and emotion to the stage that it was impossible not to get swept up in the story. I got distracted! Back to the theater! The theater itself provided a wonderful viewing experience. The seats were comfortable, and the sound quality was excellent. Voices carried clearly throughout the theater, allowing every song and line to be heard without issue. The atmosphere was lively and excited. Finding our seats was easy, and the staff members were friendly and helpful throughout the evening. One detail I particularly appreciated was the presence of bathroom attendants during intermission, helping keep lines moving efficiently so guests could return to their seats before the second act began. I greatly appreciated this. I highly recommend catching a show here.”

“Beautiful, well run theater and the shows are top notch. We will definitely be going back again.”

“Great theater. It’s Majestic and beautifully designed and army. Vehicles are here and the bathrooms go by really fast and they have wonderful stoves here.”

“View from Row D. Stunning. Introduced my sister to her first Broadway show (in Chicago) here. My first time visiting this theatre. Restrooms were a reasonable distance. The line was organized and moved fairly. Cute thematic photo op passing by the restroom was a nice touch. Lacked concession stands. Minimal, not easily accessible. Narrow space, strict shortly available timing. In my experience it takes away a star only because I was thirsty and starving. Overall still enjoyed ourselves and left a good impression on my sister about attending the theatre. (Wasn’t a musical lol) It is rewarding to me to learn about and admire exceptional architecture. Leisure-amusement as well professional. Substantial quality and built to stand the test of time. I enjoyed the positively overwhelming details that when looking for a legitimate theatre experience the Nederlander in my book is recommended.”

“Great venue to watch and listen to Manheim Steamroller Christmas Concert”

“Nice marque outside. Cool decor inside. Older but comfortable seats. Good sound. Enjoyed the show.”

“Beautiful theatre. Well located. Hard to find parking so will need to use a garage. But chaotic entry and exit.”

“We saw the final performance of Hell’s Kitchen on Sunday afternoon. The show was fantastic! The theatre is one of Chicago’s jewels. Beautiful, not a bad seat in the auditorium. We had the suite service package which we enjoyed and would do again. Light snacks and beverages included, plus easy access to suite only restrooms.”
