“I was in the area and stumbled upon this restaurant....hands down one of the best dishes I've had in my life. The staff is nice. Construction in the area, but it's worth the effort.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible meal at Grape Leaves in Oak Park. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, but the babaganoush is truly in a league of its own! The kitchen handles every dish with genuine care, and the experience was reminiscent of my favorite meals abroad—I haven’t been this happy since dining in Morocco. We also thoroughly enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves, the crisp Moroccan and chicken pastilla cigars, and the perfectly seasoned kefta kabob. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Mediterranean cuisine, this place is a must-visit!”

“Loved our food and experience here. We came for a Tuesday lunch which was quiet but lots of takeout orders going out. We got the Baba ghanoush, chicken tangine, and chicken shawarma. Everything tasted wonderful! Generous portions, great flavor, and great plating. Also knowledgeable with gluten free and provided veggies for dipping instead of pita. The mint lemonade was also delicious.”

“Best restaurant in oak park! Everything I’ve had here is delicious 🤤 it’s always so so fresh and tasty with lots of veggies!”

“One of the best Moroccan restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in the US! I came here for my birthday, and honestly it was such a special experience. The food was absolutely delicious — the flavors, the spices, everything tasted so authentic and reminded me of my mom’s cooking back home. It wasn’t just a meal, it felt like a little piece of Morocco away from Morocco. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. His hospitality made me feel at home and brought back that feeling of being in my country. When he found out it was my birthday, he surprised me with a dessert as a gift, which was such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture. It made the whole experience even more memorable. For anyone who wants to experience Moroccan culture, food, and hospitality in the US, I truly recommend this place. It feels like a little Morocco in the middle of America. And for my fellow Moroccans: this is honestly one of the best Moroccan restaurants I’ve been to. The food, the atmosphere, and the kindness of the owner make it a place you won’t forget. ❤️ I will definitely come back again. This place truly deserves another visit.”

“Dined here on a Friday evening with reservations. Small storefront on a street that is closed for construction. What a mess! We parked in the garage on the other side of the train tracks. The food was excellent as was the server. We enjoyed our time with the kids.”

“Love the food here! The coffee is great. The staff is always so friendly. Highly recommended”

“This was the best Moroccan food that I have had outside Morocco! The location is intimate, although I believe they are soon expanding into the space next door. We ordered a Marrakech salad which was delicious and sweet with plenty of dates. Then we got the chicken tagine which was savory, sweet, juicy and delicious. We also really enjoyed the mint tea which was warm and comforting, although it was definitely less sugary than the versions we had in Morocco. Highly recommend this place and would happily come back any time!”

“I’m lucky to have Grape Leaves right next to my job. The food is consistently amazing, and the owner is always there making everyone feel welcome. It’s one of those places where you can really feel the care and heart behind it!”

“The Estillos Barber Studio team this time stopped by Grape Leaves Restaurant in Oak Park, and let me tell you that this place is a whole experience. The moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in a warm, cozy atmosphere that instantly transports you straight to Morocco without ever leaving Oak Park. The Vibe Every detail inside the restaurant feels intentional. The decorations are all from Morocco, giving the space a real cultural heartbeat. Most of the wall art paintings which we believe were painted by Chef Karim himself adds a personal, handcrafted touch that makes the restaurant feel like a story you’re stepping into. It’s the kind of detail most people miss, but it makes the whole experience feel authentic and special. What We Ordered - Moroccan Chicken Tagine - Herbal Tea - Rice - Hummus Everything tasted like it was made with care and tradition. Next time, we’re excited to try different dishes because the menu has so much more to explore. A huge thank you to Stephanie who made sure every table was taken care of, comfortable, and never in need of anything. Her energy sets the tone for the entire dining room(friendly, inviting, and full of heart).Hospitality is genuine, and it shows in the way they move through the room, checking on guests and making sure everyone is having a good time. Overall It was a great experience from start to finish, and we highly recommend it. If you want incredible food, warm energy, and a cultural escape right in the heart of Oak Park, Grape Leaves Restaurant is a must‑visit.”
