As soon you arrive you feel the "Boricua' vibe. Food and service are second to none!
Great food and service. Parking was the hardest part. But even with that it was a great experience.
I grew up in the neighborhood and we always had decent Puerto Rican food nearby but I would definitely categorize El Mofonguito’s food as delicious and beyond just decent.
Omgee. I came home n quickly made my way to el mofonguito...the bacalao n verdura was everything.

Carne guisada a little salty and unfortunately the Cook puts bistec on grill like arrachera, the jibarito is not a Mexican dish, it dries it out.
2 stars cause the mofongo is decent. But Oh Lord, that "lechon" is gross.
I would never order from this place again.

My favorite Puerto Rican food spot! I had to edit my review since I have more pictures of their food and restaurant. Definitely the best Puerto Rican food around every plate feels homemade fresh! Servers are really nice. Wish they had a parking lot.

I had an Alcapurria and the mofongo w shrimp. It was delicious and authentic. Nuyorican, so I think i know good PR food when i eat it. We also ordered tostones for an appetizer. Highly recommend. My daughter ordered arroz con ganduales with lechon. Lechon was very good, lots of flavor. I'll be back. 🔥😋

Went for dinner and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile. Mind u it was the last hour of them being open. (Yes I know we were those people 🙈) but I have been craving a bistec encebollado. The gentleman taking our order was so welcoming and attentive. Now the food HIT THE SPOT!!!! I don’t do many reviews but this was such a wonderful experience. Def will be my go to for PR food.

First time at this place and was not disappointed by the food or service. Great service, the place is on the small side but clean. The waiter is attentive and very hospitable. I had the volcanic with shrimp and my husband the morcilla. Very tasty and not greasy.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem thanks to Chris Doló from TikTok and his review on the mofongo. I have to say I will be a frequent customer going forward. The jibaritos are served nice and hot, full of flavor. The pastellios and papa rellena were quickly served. The parcha is a must when you eat Puerto Rican food. Never in my life have I ever tried mofongo but boy was it delicious. Atmosphere is very friendly, chill and welcoming. Waitress was very kind, friendly and over all excellent service. If your near the area stop by, you will not regret it, trust me!!!
