I was only here for a few days but had to get a Chicago Dog! It was the best Chicago dog I’ve had in my years visiting. That poppyseed bun! I can’t wait to come back and try the unique dogs and sausages they offer. Cool art everywhere and just a good vibe. The pickles and the sport peppers are incredible. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an authentic Chicago dog or something even more unique! Also service was kind and quick!

If you’re looking for a place to get hot dogs, not just any hot dogs, but a variety that goes beyond the ordinary, Chicago’s Dog House is the place to be. They have everything here, from the traditional Chicago-style to gourmet creations that will make any hot dog lover’s heart race. The menu is big, colorful, and full of tempting options. But since it was my first time here, I decided to keep it simple and order their specialty: the classic Chicago Dog. And let me tell you, it was perfect. A true Chicago-style hot dog is a work of art, and Chicago’s Dog House does it justice. It all starts with a perfectly steamed poppy seed bun that’s soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious toppings. Tucked inside is a juicy, all-beef hot dog with that signature snap when you take a bite, exactly as it should be. The toppings are where the magic happens. Bright yellow mustard is drizzled just right, adding a tangy contrast to the richness of the hot dog. A vibrant green relish, sweet and slightly tart, brings in a touch of brightness. Freshly chopped onions add a sharp, crisp bite, while slices of ripe red tomato offer a juicy freshness. A crunchy pickle spear lays perfectly along the side, giving a briny punch that balances everything out. This place is awesome. My Chicago dog was excellent and it came out picture perfect. The fries I had were also excellent. They also had a bunch of fun hot sauces you could add to your food The fries were also really good. I’ll absolutely come back if I’m in the area.

I got the Chicago style hot dog and it's a solid choice. Hot dog is full of flavor and so were the fries. Paid $11 for the lunch special and worth every bit. Definite go to spot in the area

“This was my first experience getting a Chicago style hot dog in Chicago.”

This was my first experience getting a Chicago style hot dog in Chicago. it ended up hitting the spot as we were passing through the city looking for a quick bite. The restaurant is located near a college campus. So it's not right in the city and it is in a somewhat safe area. This was certainly a concern driving a place like Chicago, is which I'm really not really familiar with the neighborhoods. It's pretty cool inside of the building. There is not a lot of seating though. That's definitely something to keep in mind. It's also connected to other buildings. As for the the Chicago hot dog, it was very flavorful. For those that do not know, Chicago hot dogs have tomatoes, a pickle, dyed relish, and sport peppers on a poppy seed bun. Another neat thing about this place is that there were many different bottles of sauces that you could try. I love this concept. Overall, this place has good hot dogs and a great opportunity to try one of you've never done so.

The veggie Chicago hot dog was pretty good (it was a tad too salty. Next time, I’ll just ask for it without the salt.) The fries were spot-on, crispy and just perfect. The staff was friendly. It took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. Cool spot!
