“Place an order with Chicago Steak Co. I received the order. Everything was fine until I got to the cheesecake that I ordered. It has a best by date of September 4, 2025. The date I received the item was December 10 or December 11 many months after the best by date. Now I understand the best buy date is not an expiration date. Regardless, I called customer service the day I received my order and spoke to a person named Ren. I told her the situation she said she would get with her team and that I should hold which I did. She stated the team said “the cheesecake was good for six months” To which I responded if the cheesecake is best by the date of September, it’s probably not at its best now and I paid a lot of money for this cheesecake $54.95 She then stated she would get back with the team and would call me back. today is now Monday evening, December 15th. I have yet to hear from anyone. So my suggestion would be to buy from another steak company as you risk the steaks not being as fresh Or the Quality As Good as they say they are. BUYER BEWARE! Update: I spoke with Lynn They they have resolved the problem satisfactory. I would order again from Chicago Steak Co.”
