The Outsiders just opened and wow, I did not expect this. The performances and stage direction are incredible. Definitely worth seeing, especially if you’re visiting. Try your luck with rush tickets if you go early (around 11:00 maybe!).

Beautiful theatre, as always, loved the show. Even in 3rd balcony your view is good. Seats aren't super small and pretty comfortable. Theatre was comfortable temperature even though it was negative 4 when I visited. Not as crowded as I had expected. A bit crazy with cabs afterwards but it was crazy snowing and slushy. I still got my curb cab within minutes so it was not bad. Experience it at least once!

Great theatre! Acoustics were sensational. Saw phantom of the opera and twilight in concert here. Sat Orchestra left and Loge Center. Sitting Loge was far superior to orchestra left, as the view from the main floor left us with a limit perspective- we could only see the middle and right side of the stage. Great performances no matter what. Bar is cheap too for a theatre downtown, with cocktails only being $13.

The Cadillac Palace Theatre is a gem. We saw The Phantom of the Opera here and the entire night was unforgettable. The venue is stunning inside, it really adds to the magic of the performance. The experience felt smooth and well run, and the theater made the show feel even more grand. Highly recommend seeing a production here if you get the chance.

We saw Phantom of the Opera here on 12/24/25. It was a beautiful experience at a beautiful theatre. Acoustics are excellent, making the voices and instruments powerful and transportive. As a lifelong fan of POTO, this theatre and production could not have been more perfect. We sat in row D near the stage, and while my end seat was unobstructed, the seats in the middle of the row had a bit of obstruction. The lines for the restroom can get very long, so make sure you plan for that! All in all, a one of a kind experience. I cannot wait to visit again!

“When in Chicago, we always enjoy going to the Cadillac Palace theater.”

When in Chicago, we always enjoy going to the Cadillac Palace theater! Recently we went to the Neil Diamond Beautiful Noise Broadway show. It was delightful. Nearby (10 min walk) is the Village Restaurant which is by far the number one Italian restaurant in the state of Illinois. I highly recommend making a reservation there and then walking over to the theater. It's a lovely vintage theater with beautiful seats, acoustics and views. You can't go wrong with any seat and I highly recommend taking in a show here. Support local, support artists and support theatre: Thank You!
