“We were visiting our son who lives in Oak Park. We ate at Amerikas on our first night. We liked it so much, we ate there two more times my husband travels all over for a living. He said his meal (the lamb) is one of the best meals he’s ever had! We had the guacamole, ceviche, tostada de oescado, and (Ro’bola) the striped bass. Every bite we took was fantastic! The quesabirria was rich, flavorful, and satisfying, with tender meat and a great balance of seasoning. The plate felt generous and well put together, and every bite had that deep, comforting flavor you hope for. The mojito was a perfect pairing. It was refreshing, bright, and made the meal feel even more special. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like a great Oak Park lunch spot. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend.”
“Our Estillos Barber Studio team has visited Amerikas Restaurant a few times now, and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite spots in Oak Park. Great mix of good energy, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere. What We Enjoyed On our visits, we ordered: * French Toast * Latte * Chicaliquiles *Tortilla Soup *New York Steak & Eggs Everything came out consistently well prepared and satisfying, which is why we didn’t hesitate to return. And we will definitely try other things from the menu. Shout out to Paloma, who took care of us last time we were there and to the rest of the staff with the same hospitality and welcomeming vibe.”
“Thoughtful staff. Very fresh ingredients. Amazing flavors! I loved the Al Pastor taco with the contrast of savory meat and sweet pineapple. The chicken taco was good too. The Tortilla Soup was a SURPRISE favorite. A messy first time for a churro, flower, and toasted marshmallow hot coco. Everything tasted so flavorful. Prices were reasonable.”
“Our first time there and won’t be our last! Delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. Celebrated my husband's birthday here during brunch. Extensive menu; ordered steak chilaquiles- meat was tender and cooked perfectly just as I asked. Vegetarian enchiladas were very flavorful. We ordered the bottomless mimosas tried their pomegranate and guava juices and both were fantastic. Finished off with a café con piquete and their homemade churros; rumchata and mezcal. Most delicious mezcal I’ve tried. We will definitely come back again. Stop by and give this place a chance if you’re on the fence about it, you won’t regret it!”

“I really enjoy this spot for brunch. I’m a steak and eggs guy and they do not disappoint. They also provide a variety of juices for your mimosas, always a plus. Not the biggest place but very comfortable and clean. Make a reservation and stop in they stop serving brunch at 2:30.”

“If I had to go here again for brunch, I would definitely get their shrimp tacos again - it was SUPER flavorful. Amazing Cappuccino as well, and the interior design was super lovely. I did try their breakfast sandwhich, which was okay, so definitely air on the side of their tacos.”
