Our first time there and won’t be our last! Delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. Celebrated my husband's birthday here during brunch. Extensive menu; ordered steak chilaquiles- meat was tender and cooked perfectly just as I asked. Vegetarian enchiladas were very flavorful. We ordered the bottomless mimosas tried their pomegranate and guava juices and both were fantastic. Finished off with a café con piquete and their homemade churros; rumchata and mezcal. Most delicious mezcal I’ve tried. We will definitely come back again. Stop by and give this place a chance if you’re on the fence about it, you won’t regret it!

I really enjoy this spot for brunch. I’m a steak and eggs guy and they do not disappoint. They also provide a variety of juices for your mimosas, always a plus. Not the biggest place but very comfortable and clean. Make a reservation and stop in they stop serving brunch at 2:30.

“It was my first time here with a friend.”

It was my first time here with a friend. We sat outside. Our server was attentive, sweet, and friendly throughout our time here. She warmed up our coffee for us. She gave us the recommendation to eat their chilaquiles. The chilaquiles with the steak were delicious. I recommend any reading this review to check out Amerikas. The service and food were delicious! Lastly, we had two dogs with us. They brought us water for dogs. The staff here are sweet and friendly.

This little gem in Oak Park - let me tell you it’s a must go. If you’re in the area visiting or you’re a local who hasn’t had the chance to visit, I highly recommend this place. It doesn’t matter what time or food you’re going for: it’s all delicious. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner… it’s all amazing. I’ve tried so many things on their menu and Ive never been disappointed! It’s a small location & parking can be a little tricky depending on what time you go but don’t let it stop you from trying this spot. From someone who truly knows what GOOD latin food is supposed to taste like, if you’re looking for delicious true Latin flavors… I can honestly say this is the place for it.

I have been there twice and I had the most delicious fish I had ever had. The food is superb, cocktails are so so good. Staff is friendly and helpful. We went to get a drink late on a Friday, the only thing I did not like it was that it did not smell good and the restroom was a bit dirty. Besides that I love this place ! Highly recommend for a great meal.

Wow! Fantastic food, superb cocktails. My wife and I had the guacamole and stuffed poblano pepper to start and the lamb barbacoa. Absolutely delicious. Isidro, the bartender is a genius mixologist. We were blown away by every cocktail we tasted.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 7.8/10 – Great Food & Fantastic Service at Amerikas Restaurant! I had a great experience at Amerikas Restaurant in Oak Park! The food was amazing, and the service was just as impressive. I ordered the three asada taco dinner with double rice, and everything was cooked to perfection—the meat was tender and flavorful, and the rice was a perfect complement to the dish. I also had the bottomless mimosa, and when they say bottomless, they mean it! My glass was never empty, and the refills kept coming without hesitation. The highlight of the meal was the complimentary churro, which was warm, sweet, and perfectly balanced—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better. A big shoutout to Daniela R., our server, who was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her excellent service added to the overall great experience. Overall, I’d give Amerikas a 7.8 out of 10. The food, drinks, and service were all top-notch, and I’ll definitely be back. If you’re in Oak Park, I highly recommend stopping by!

“Brunch at Amerikas was amazing!”

Brunch at Amerikas was amazing!! Stopped to kick off Restaurant Week. Good serving sizes of American breakfast items as well as typical Mexican options for brunch. Micheladas, bloody marias or try the bottomless mimosas for $30 and time limit is 1.5 hrs. They give you the entire bottle of champagne and juice on the side to mix it yourself! Staff is friendly and on top of their game. Try the Oaxaca Tamal Breakfast, you won't be disappointed in the flavorful chicken mole and perfect portion of beans and eggs. Any other notable meal was the 2x2 which was a plate big enough to share Amerikas Restaurant really improved since my last visit and do recommend reservations for weekends.

“An old college friend suggested this place for a brunch date and I could not have been more pleased.”

An old college friend suggested this place for a brunch date and I could not have been more pleased. We enjoyed some delicious food while we got reacquainted with each other and reminisced about our uni days. I got the frittata and fresh squeezed orange juice, she got the chilaquiles and a bloody mary. We both left full and satisfied with our meals. Good food, good service, good company. Panza llena, corazón contento!
