Never thought a convenience store would inspire this level of admiration within me, yet here I am, strongly urging you to go to Uptown Deli! Initially started going here because they were the ONLY place open after work- now I go for my nicotine/lil’ treat needs at all hours of the day because I love this spot so much. Great corner store with a surprisingly vast selection of snacks (if you’re looking for Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams deep cut flavors, this is the spot), good vibes, and the BEST employees!!

If you’re looking for the best beef in Chicago, look no further than Uptown Deli. Their Italian beef is LEGIT. The meat is seasoned perfectly, the bread is delicious and it’s a massive sandwich. All for a good price too! The Bear should have been based on this place. Mo is the man!

great selection of things, and really good sandwiches. From the deli, got the Big Windy (no cheese) panini, it was terrific, and huge! (had half fresh for lunch, at it by the lake, and the other half later for dinner cold, and idk which was better). BF got the reuben which was also great (even tho it had cheese on it when I tasted and I’m not usually into that). They also had a selection of Synergy kombuchas in flavors i’d never seen elsewhere. And some fun sodas in the fridge. rest of the groceries also looked great. Might have to go back to try a jar of pickled brussel sprouts, see what their whole deal is…… Ultimately, very good.

For the past 2 years I’ve been wanting to stop here and today was the day, i ordered the cubby some kettle chips and can of pop. Must i say the staff is very friendly and the sandwiches are really big and delicious. Aside from sandwiches they have a variety of snacks and fresh produce. Will definitely try it again!

This Uptown Deli is incredible! Just moved up to the area and these guys, especially Moe, always has a smile when I walk in there and they have everything I need for my convenience. They even gave me a covid test! Good peeps.

Came to the neighborhood on business and saw this place highly rated. My god one of the best sandwiches I ever had. Every part was so tasty. The manager / owner was so nice, there was a bunch of regular chatting with the staff and he came up to me to say hi. Great vibe.
