One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food was absolutely delicious – super flavorful, authentic, and the portions were huge! Everything we tried was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served hot. If you’re hungry and craving real Mexican food, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back!

Quesadillas are handmade, and their Tinga Quesdailla is finger lickin' good ! Pic of Quesadilla is about a third of a whole Quesadilla, which is definitely big & filling. Torta Cubana is good, and Torta Chilanga has the softest milanesa, so crispy & good. The server is friendly and attentive, so that's a plus.

This review is for the food truck that is usually on Milwaukee in front of the dollar tree. I met with the owner who was out there and is super friendly and really into what he does! I got the steak quesadilla; not only was it amazing but the price was great also. Def going to take the time to get out to the main restaurant someday and the food truck is def worth checking out!

During the Holidays a friend of mine invited me to one of her favorite Mexican neighborhood spots. I have gone back twice since, just to make sure I wasn’t crazy. This place is a true hidden gem. The tampiqueño was amazing. The short ribs were on point. Today I was blessed with a handmade huarache, which was pretty darn good. The also have handmade quesadillas. This place is a great and the staff was very nice and attentive.

“This place is so good!”

This place is so good!! I’ve been getting takeout here for years and it’s always been delicious, but I decided to sit down and eat the other day with some friends from out of town. It did not disappoint. The chorizo and steak tacos were delicious, and the taco plate came with a bunch of rice and beans at a great price. The waitress was also super nice, I would definitely recommend this place!!

I came to El Primo because it has good reviews, and they were right. I ordered the fish filet with “huajillo” sauce. They did not have “Huachinango” available. Chips and salsa are delicious. I will be back for sure.

“MENUDO is out of this world.”

MENUDO is out of this world. Literally the best I ever had. And the Pozole is equally as good. Also the Quesabirria was delicious, very flavorful. Highly, Highly recommend!!
