If you’re in Chicago , try Mr Sub. I am feeling sleepy from getting stuffed up by their king size sandwich. It was cool. Good food, ask for the spicy sauce , comes with Chips and drink. Clean neat place, friendly people here . Give it a shot

“I haven't had Mr Submarines in years.”

I haven't had Mr Submarines in years! Maybe 8 years! And while it isnt exactly what I remember, it was still pretty good. The appearance out the outside looks very clean and inviting with a glass window to see into the kitchen. I got there around 1145 on a Thursday and only two people were in line. By the time I ordered, the line was at 12 people. But they get your food out to you very quickly. I ordered my food and the women were so accommodating and polite to me especially when I had questions. I ordered the Value meal #2 with a 7in sub, chips and a Dr Pepper soda as well as a cream of chicken soup. The sub was so fresh with crispy lettuce, their sub sauce and their cheese which is a blend of white American cheddar and Swiss, ugh I have missed this place! The crema of chicken was a little saltier than I'd like but still very good. Overall a great place! Highly recommend!

Staff is super friendly and prices are very affordable for lunch downtown. I have never waited more than a few minutes for my order and it is always accurate. They offer a variety of sandwiches and it is always delicious.

Cheapest authentic Chicago sub place in the loop. Frequent place for office workers. Any tourists should try the Gym-shoe (most underrated Chicago sandwich) it’s not on the menu but if you ask they will make it for you. Restaurant is always kept super clean and staff is attentive, helpful, and super nice. Excellent customer service.

Right by hotels, good prices, quick service and the meal was great. I would come here regularly if I was by the area. Only issue was cleaning while we were sitting at our table eating - could have waited 10 mins

Mr. Submarine, right below the L, was a fantastic find. Probably the best food value in the inner city. The 12” subs are massive. The type you only need to buy 1 and share it. We got the Mr. Submarine and a Gyro sub. Both were delicious. Fast service on a Saturday at lunch time. Clean. Places to eat in, but there were many take out orders while we were there. If you’re really hungry and have a few minutes to eat, stop by Mr. Submarine. I don’t get to Chicago often, but the next time I’m in town I’d certainly stop by again.

“Love this place, it is my comfort food.”

Love this place, it is my comfort food. They have way better sub sandwiches then anyone else. When every I good out of town or coming back I always stop by Mr. Submarine. It is one of my favorite place to go to leave and return back to Chicago. 😋 I can never buy just one it is either 2 to 6 sub sandwiches at a time and it all for myself.

If you're looking for a bang for your buck spot, well oh boy do I have the place 4 you! Mr. Submarine, located mere feet from the Washington/Wells ''L" stop, is affordable, clean, and has some gr8 décor ( Red n White , go subs !!). I dined at this location at about 4:53 on a Wednesday. No line and the subs took less than a minute to make. I got the King Sized Cold Roast Beef sando. They lay it on super thicc here n I mean that! I of course opted for the "value' meal which is a drink (they have RC cola AND Dr. Pepper, tough choice but I went with Rc) and your choice of chips or soup. I got chips and my friend got teh soup. 5/5 would dine again , thank you Mr. Submarine for full filling all my Mr. Submarine dreams 😉 here's a few pics of my experience, hope this review helps and thx for listening
