This for here is different from the Chinese food I'm used to.
Nice people, quick service, TERRIBLY BLAND food. I mean like terrible. No flavor whatsoever. Never again.
Beef n broccoli was all fat. Orange chicken very soggy. Crab Rangoon was all cream cheese no crab.

I had the pleasure of dining at Wonder Chop last night, and I have to say—it was an unforgettable experience! The highlight of my meal was their beef and broccoli (spicy 🌶️) , which was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The beef was incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and coated in a rich, savory sauce that perfectly complemented the crisp, fresh broccoli. Every bite was a perfect balance of textures and taste. Beyond the amazing food, the service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant. Whether you’re a fan of classic Chinese cuisine or just looking for a delicious meal, Wonder Chop is an absolute must. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Stopped in on a whim craving Chinese for lunch. Pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. We got: - an egg roll - order of 6 fried pork dumplings - orange chicken lunch special - kung Pao lunch special Really tasty food that came out quick but there was only one other table eating at the time. Wait staff was very kind and quick to take orders. Interior leaves something to be desired. It's very clean, just feels a little character-less. Could use some more decor. But if that doesn't matter to you, all the better. Highly recommend and will be back myself!

Was greeted by a friendly woman to take my order. General Tso chicken was excellent and had just the right amount of spicy that is usually lacking at most chinese restaurants. The egg roll is one of the best I've had, wish I ordered 2!

I wish i had taken a before picture because the presentation was excellent, staff friendly and cheerful, and food the same. I had the orange chicken lunch special and it was fantastic. Def some of the best Chinese food I've had around Chicago. You can see the end result below...lol would def recommend and look forward to coming back again. Thank you!

I usually judge a restaurant by their goons and these goons were SO GOOD. but not only were the goons good, everything we had was tasty. Staff were literal angels. So sweet and friendly. We went on a cold/snowy winter day so as expected they had a lot of to go orders, but they still took really good care of us. Portion sizes were great. Probably the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever been in!

We've ordered from Wonder Chop twice, and it was great both times! I had General Tso's and my partner had "Four seasons," along with an egg roll and miso soup. On subsequent visits, she also tried beef and broccoli. The food isn’t too saucy or overfried and definitely raises the bar for Chinese cuisine. We'd definitely order takeout from them again.

Best Chinese food in the city! This family has been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and their expert culinary and customer service skills are evident of that. Food is consistently delicious, plentiful and always fresh to order. Amazing food and prices— Chicago is lucky to have wonder chop!!
