“Delicious Food! Lovely atmosphere! Friendly staff! My absolute favorite place to go for spicy curry! You can customize the meat and the vegetables and spice level of your food! Prices are reasonable, more bang for your buck!”

“Having lived in Malaysia for over 9 years and visiting Penang (Malaysia) and Bankok and all along the southern side of Thailand from Krabi particularly Sri Lanta, to Phi Phi Island (with a postal mail box) to length and width of Phuket for food, visiting Opart on NE corner about 2 shops east of Ashland Ave and north side of Chicago Ave at the junction of Chicago Ave and Ashland Ave in Near North Chicago Area, brought me the same sensation of food as I was experiencing in the Food Paradise of Thailand. Paul who serviced us was one of the best we ever had. Food was phenomenal. The location so comfortable. More than a billion kudos for Team Opart for food quality, service and atmosphere especially the aroma of Thai food.”

“I remember seeing Opart Thai recommended by multiple people as their favorite Thai spot in Chicago and do I get it now. We had a tremendous dinner here and every single plate was cleared. We had the papaya salad, larb gai, and nam tok. Their spice scale runs from 1 to 7 and we ordered everything at a level 6. Everything was proper spicy. The authentic Thai heat cleared our sinuses in the best way possible. The side of lettuce served with each dish offered a crisp, cooling contrast from the heat and intense flavors. The papaya salad was a bit sweet for my taste but it was still refreshingly bright. The strands of papaya were at a great spot where it had soaked up all the sauce while still retaining their crunch. The larb was fantastic: such a light dish yet it carried so many bold and complex flavors. But nothing could have prepared me for the Nam Tok. The beef was unbelievably tender, juicy, and had a fantastic smoky char. Drenched in a sauce that perfectly balanced tangy lime, salty fish sauce, fresh herbs, and a generous hit of toasted rice powder, it was a full-on flavor bomb. Every bite was bright, savory, and deeply satisfying. Very few dishes have ever hit my palate quite like this one. You could get pad Thai anywhere but you should be ordering off the beaten path here, they knock it out of the park. This is one of those places where going beyond the classic options pays off big time.”

“Very standard Thai Restaurant with decor, but it was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was good and I love how they ask for the spice level prior I got a 5 out of 7 with hot sauce on the side. Could have asked for a 7 out of 7. The Thai Iced Tea was extra creamy but still a good amount of sweet.”

“Great Thai restaurant for yummy food and affordable price. Depending on the item you get, the portion can be huge which is great value. I would come back!”

“Hadn't been in years, and the food and service are still 5 stars. Service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Pad Thai is a go to. Try all the appetizers!”

“Leider war das Gericht meiner Frau falsch, wir hatten Beef bestellt und Chicken bekommen, sonst hat das Essen gut geschmeckt.”

“Below average Thai food. We got delivery from here on a Thursday night. Likely not their fault however we got the wrong order for a different person with the same name but different last initial. I ordered the Tofu Vegan Drunken noodle (Pad Kee Mao), and spring rolls. All vegan. What showed up was a chicken pad see iew, chicken lettuce wraps, basil fried rice, a green Thai chili, and white rice. Not what I ordered or what I wanted. The lettuce wraps were very sweet, but fresh considering it’s lettuce traveling in Tupperware. The chicken pad see iew had some nice flavors but lacked spice and had very few veggies, almost none. The basil fried rice was sour, and slightly spicy, but not hot. Overall very disappointing for many reasons.”

“Ordered delivery from this place 2x. First time they spilled my Iced Coffee and delivered me a bag full of iced coffee. Second time, their delivery driver (through the restaurant) accosted me for waiting to tip until I got my food (b/c I knew what my last experience was). Got a bag of coffee once again”
