Having lived in Malaysia for over 9 years and visiting Penang (Malaysia) and Bankok and all along the southern side of Thailand from Krabi particularly Sri Lanta, to Phi Phi Island (with a postal mail box) to length and width of Phuket for food, visiting Opart on NE corner about 2 shops east of Ashland Ave and north side of Chicago Ave at the junction of Chicago Ave and Ashland Ave in Near North Chicago Area, brought me the same sensation of food as I was experiencing in the Food Paradise of Thailand. Paul who serviced us was one of the best we ever had. Food was phenomenal. The location so comfortable. More than a billion kudos for Team Opart for food quality, service and atmosphere especially the aroma of Thai food.

Very standard Thai Restaurant with decor, but it was very clean and the staff was friendly. The food was good and I love how they ask for the spice level prior I got a 5 out of 7 with hot sauce on the side. Could have asked for a 7 out of 7. The Thai Iced Tea was extra creamy but still a good amount of sweet.

I usually take-out but have also sat down in the dining room a couple times. Service is always friendly and quick, to-go orders are always ready very fast! I’ve never had a bad dish from Opart Thai, the food is amazing with large portions at an affordable price. It’s my go-to Thai spot, highly recommend.

Amazing value and even more amazing food - we loved the khao soi and the peanut lovers dish. I was blown away by how affordable all this was. Absolutely one of the best value Thai meals in the city. The fact that it’s BYOB is just a cherry on top.

“This place is a BYOB.”

This place is a BYOB. We ordered their spicy tofu - level 4 and fresh spring rolls for appetizers and garlic fried rice (veg). The waitress said level 5 was really hot ., so we did 4. But we felt we could have increased a level as it was still a bit on the sweeter side for us. There is no corking fee. We loved our waitress. The garlic fried rice, very well balanced - the best i've eaten in a while. !!

We had a night out with friends. I had the beef pak kee Mao. It was good but a little spicy. My wife had the beef with vegetables and that was really good. We also had the chicken skewers which was done perfectly with the sauce. This place is BYOB and no bottle charge. I would recommend and just tell them you don’t want spicy unless you really like spicy food

I needed a good, authentic Thai restaurant to take my wife for her birthday. This place was perfect. Nice for a dinner for 2 or party of 10. Everything we ordered was delicious and that come from my Thai wife who misses Thailand and can never find a place she likes. She was happy to see they had the freshest vegetables as if right from the farm. We will be back. Try the Tiger Cry for an appetizer, you won't be disappointed 😉

Absolutely amazing food! We go hard at Opart, the Tiger Cry is probably my favorite appetizer I’ve ever had. Definitely get the Panang Curry and Pad Thai, it’s next level.

One of the best Thai restaurants- perfect for dining in or take out. It is BYOB so that also helps to keep the check low and prices are very friendly. The service is quick even if the place is full, the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Our favorites are Shu Mai, red curry and glass noodles, you can experiment with the spice level.

This is by far some of the best Thai food I ever had so far in my life. The best part easily that you get a great portion for a reasonable price without breaking your pockets. I suggest definitely trying the veggie egg rolls & any soup and you will be super satisfied. Also the decor and design of the restaurant is very warming & cozy.
