“Got the Sweet & Sour chicken with fried rice and a egg roll food the lunch special. It was decent lack of season and the Sweet & Sour sauce didn't taste too good and they gave me mustard for my eggs roll Will try again another day”

“I’ve always had good experiences with Happiness, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I stopped by today because I was in the area and unfortunately, it was a complete miss for me. I ordered the George’s Egg Foo Young and the Hawaiian Fried Rice, and both were an epic fail. The food lacked quality, flavor, and freshness, especially compared to what I’ve come to expect from this restaurant. It’s frustrating to spend hard-earned money at restaurants only to receive subpar food. This visit honestly felt like a waste of money. I was extremely disappointed and hope they pay closer attention to consistency and food quality moving forward. Maybe I’ll just cook at home from now on.”

“I argued with the lady about not getting BBQ pork. She insisted I did and told me to order correctly next time. After 10 minutes, I said it was clearly a financial issue and told her I’d call her back because she was yelling. The food wasn’t great, and the experience was bad I won’t be ordering from there again.”

“I ordered lo mein, fried rice and orange chicken for pick up. Food was ready within minutes but I realized why when I got home. Everything lacked seasoning. I had such high hopes for this place but unfortunately it was extremely insipid and tasted like nothing. The worst was the lo mein. the noodles were ramen noodles which were soggy and bland. Even Panda Express is better”
“The best tasting food. Everything I have tried is delicious. I don’t even live near Happiness but when I have a taste for Chinese food I am happy to take the drive because I know exactly what I am getting.”
“Small place, quick service, and the portions and food are really good.”
“There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in Bridgeport. Happiness is my favorite. I've never dined in, we always order out so I can't rate the atmosphere. The portions are large, the prices very reasonable. We' been ordering from them since they opened decades ago. I have never been disappointed in the food, and I have had just about everything on their menu, delivery is always fast, and the order has always been correct. They have a surprisingly good BBQ sauce. My favorites: Chicken chow fun, (I love those fat noodles, my wife likes the skinny noodles), Pot stickers, Sweet&Sour pork, and the Sampler pack (2 Crab Rangoons, 2 Chicken wings, 2 large breaded shrimp, BBQ Ribs and BBQ pork pieces at the bottom).”
“My Aunt took me there years ago. She used to get food for her staff at Nellies meats b4 they moved. Aways Fresh and Hot!!!!”
“No frills American Chinese food that is a step above all the other generic places. Their servings are massive but food is still good. Egg foo young is packed with ingredients compared to other places that skimp. Large rice comes overflowing with good balance of rice and other ingredients. Szechuan and Hunan chicken dishes are great for someone trying to avoid the fried/breaded options.”
“Well, if you like fried rice, this is a good place to satisfy your craving :)”
“When I was younger we would go to the movies at the Ramova theater down the street. Fond memories. The Ramova Is being renovated. Smokey Robinson is one of the investors. The food at Happiness is fantastic. You get in the restaurant, sit down, order your food and stove is HOT. Food comes fast. Well seasoned, well prepared, and well presented. Don't order too much. They give you your leftovers which are enough for another meal. Win win situation.”
