“The Chinese food was excellent! Every dish had its own unique and interesting flavor. My favorite was the noodles. The portions were so generous that I was already full before dessert, so I'd say you can skip it( it was mostly ice cream not cake)”

“The General Tso's chicken is the dish most people have a complicated relationship with from their delivery days, and Izard's version reframes it completely: dark meat, properly crisped, in a sauce that has real complexity and depth, bright and sticky and not cloyingly sweet. It's the dish you put on the table first and then realize is gone before everything else arrives. The pork and chive potstickers are the dumplings most worth ordering, browned and juicy and served with a dipping sauce that has enough vinegar and chile to make the whole thing feel alive. The dan dan noodles are the noodle dish that keeps showing up as the thing regulars order every time, ground pork in a sesame and chili sauce with the right amount of heat that builds as you eat rather than landing all at once. We also had the beef short rib with scallion pancake, which is the large-format order best suited for sharing and best consumed with chopsticks and no plan. The soft serve matcha dessert at the end is light and slightly bitter and exactly the right way to close a meal that had been rich and bold throughout. Reservations are recommended. Weeknight walk-ins are more manageable than weekend evenings.”

“Service and food phenomenal. Ask for Kayla. The green beans were the star followed by the jiaozi, pork belly with pancakes and pickled veggies and the dan dan noodles”

“We went for restaurant week brunch, and they were very easily able to sub in non-pork options for me. Really liked the fried rice omelet and soup dumpling. Fun decorative vibe inside and tasty drinks.”

“This is amazing. Flavors so complex and tasty every bite was amazing!”

“Wonderful ambiance. Good service with waiters eager to provide insightful info. Food was good. Recommend getting the wings and green beans! So flavorful. Lots of tasty dishes to try here. Noise level was normal loud but still able to talk. Drinks were well made and aesthetically pleasing. We booked through Capital One Dining and sat at a table/ booth for 2”

“Decided to finally try this spot for restaurant week! Service and ambience were great. Here is what we had to eat: Pan-dried potstickers 2/5 - they weren’t horrible, but they were very underwhelming. Also, the sauce that was on them made our tongues feel weird. Pan-fried pork bao 5/5 - amazing. I could eat 10 of these. Duck & goat spring rolls 5/5 - I don’t even like duck (I know I know), but that duck and goat combo is superb. Green beans 4/5 - a little over-sauced, but really tasty. Beef slap noodles 4/5 - the flavor is quite mild but I enjoyed it. Citrus tea baobing 10/5 - crack in a bowl. We also decided to try the crag rangoon 0/5 - the worst I’ve ever had in my life. Nothing crab or rangoon about em. They were made with some sort of puff pastry that might’ve been good if it was soft and doughy and not just flaky. Also, they were much bigger than normal crab rangoon but only about a fourth of them had any filling. Overall, I enjoyed most of the things I ate, but absolutely nothing justifies the price point. Especially since you only get 1 piece of these items or a very small portion.”

“Had an amazing experience here! We found it through Restaurant Week but ended up doing the full menu. The service was great, our waitress timed all the food perfectly. The busser picked up our empty plates immediately which was honestly so nice because we had limited space on our two-person table. We will definitely be back! We ordered the pork bao + pickled cucumbers + duck potstickers + spring rolls + green beans + duck fried rice. It was all incredible!!!! The only negative part was the parking.”

“Beautiful space with super nice service. Had a res but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. Unfortunately the food was a bit underwhelming. The lamb noodles were super super doughy. Literally sticking to my mouth and everything else, it was like chewing gum almost. Taste was good but hard to overlook that texture. The Chongqing chicken was NOT what Chongqing chicken is supposed to be. Not only that it tasted just okay. Sadly, the best dish out of the ones I ordered was the cucumber the portions were small (besides the mapo tofu) for how much they cost Great place to try but don’t think I’d go back over other places in the area”
