“I had a disgusting experience finding a roach in my food. I called the restaurant immediately at 8:46 PM to report it. Instead of simply issuing a refund, they offered store credit, which I declined. Why was that even a suggestion?! Why would they think I will be a returning customer?! They then told me to bring the food back right away with the roach so they could refund me that same night. Even though it was extremely inconvenient, I agreed, told them I was on my way and headed over. They never mentioned they close at 9 PM. I arrived at 9:10 PM to find the restaurant already closed. So not only did I deal with a serious food safety issue, but they also wasted my time by failing to communicate their closing time. I still haven’t received my refund, so I’ll be disputing the charge with my bank. This entire situation was handled unprofessionally from start to finish. Please see pictures attached as proof of the roach and the time of my call to report it. UPDATE: I had to go through Beyond Menu (another nightmare), the app they use for orders, because the restaurant refused to void the transaction or issue a refund. No one followed up to apologize or offer any solution. I couldn’t go through my bank since the transaction was still pending, and I wanted this resolved immediately. When a rep from Beyond Menu contacted me, the restaurant agreed to refund only the plate with the roach in it, but of course I requested a full refund since nothing was eaten.”
“I order from here once a week, for the Lunch Specials, plus the Spicy Egg Rolls. Never disappointing, food is delicious. Owners are very nice. "SPICY", is Spicy, not hot! Good heat!”
