“They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies”
Food was not good here. Egg rolls tasted like classic take-out egg rolls which were actually kinda comforting.
Used to go here all the time for family birthday dinners and events.
The food was awful will not be back. The entertainment was good but the food was terrible.

“I love everything about this place.”
I love everything about this place. The decor is perfectly imperfect. Great efficient service. The food was solid and nostalgic of the Chinese food from my childhood.

“This place is awesome, the food is pretty good, but most importantly, they do shows with impersonators.”
This place is awesome, the food is pretty good, but most importantly, they do shows with impersonators. The show I saw was Elvis, and it was really good. There's many others. The place has a old school early 80s vibe. Definitely worth trying

“Nice quick and tasty lunch menu.”
Nice quick and tasty lunch menu. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. I was hoping it had green pepper, onion, and tomatoe like I remember in the "old days."The flavors, drinks, and decor still reminded me of a Tiki Room restaurant of past years. I'll return.

“We have gone her so many times.”
We have gone her so many times. This place never disappoints us. The ladies are super nice. Food is served fast. They also pack the left overs for you. They also have vegetarian options. They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies. Thr decorations inside are unique and give a nice cozy look. Occasionally there are free music shows. One night there was Rod Stewart. We didn’t know about him, but we checked later. He is a celebrity of sorts.

“First time there.”
First time there. Went with my family (my brother, sister-in-law, and nieces) so I'm not used to having to deal with kids, and it was a bit hectic when we got there. The waitress was really nice and patience. She saw that we needed to get ourselves together, to look at the menu and decide. The food was great, and big portions. Will definitely be back.

“You just gotta go and check it out for yourself.”
You just gotta go and check it out for yourself! Delicious food, great portions, fun ambience, clean aquariums, great for kids, great for adults, safe bathrooms—a very fun time! It will taste like home to anyone who grew up in the Chicagoland area. Total gem. Loved it.

“It was our first time at Chef Sangrila to celebrate the hubs birthday on a busy Saturday night.”
It was our first time at Chef Sangrila to celebrate the hubs birthday on a busy Saturday night. We decided to bring in a cake and the hostess was so nice about it. No questions asked and served it to us after our meal at the end of the night. Food was awesome and delicious but the ENTERTAINMENT WAS PHENOMENAL! It was Michael Jackson impersonator night and he did such a great job! The show started at 7:30pm and lasted a good hour. He changed several times and not only he sang but he danced too. He was pretty good! I was very impressed and maybe because I grew up with all of MJ's songs, I sang along every song. MJ engaged with the crowd and during the song "Thriller" he pulled a few guest to dance the infamous zombie dance. It was soooo funny! Hahaha Everything was delicious. We ordered pot stickers, crab rangoons and beef teriyaki sticks. Crab rangoons was very meaty and not skimpy on the filling. The beef sticks was tender and flavorful. We also ordered mooshu pork, steamed white fish, Mongolian beef and chicken chow fun thick noodles. My favorite was the chicken chow fun. But everything was just wonderful and portions was huge. I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and my hubby had the Dr. Fong. The entire restaurant has a tiki themed and it was such a wonderful time we can't wait to go back for the other entertainment such as Elton John, Lady Gaga, Tina Turner and more!
