Chef Ping — solid, no-fuss chinese in Rolling Meadows. The walls could tell stories. The flavors are genuine, nothing diluted. Moves fast. "The flavors were fresh, portions generous, and prices very reasonable" — Patryk Slomczynski

“These two are our favorites but there are many other excellent dishes”
I used to go to Chef Ping on a regular basis. Took family and friends here. Even visitors from China.
Customer service is horrible. I placed an order for carryout and was told it would be ready for pickup in 45 minutes.
My family and I dined at this restaurant last night.

Casual sit-down Chinese restaurant that will cater quickly to you once you have ordered. Everything is delicious here. From appetizers, soup, to the main dish you will find something to like. The servers are always friendly and polite. The food here is worth the wait.

“If I could eat at Chef Ping in Rolling Meadows every single day, I absolutely would.”
If I could eat at Chef Ping in Rolling Meadows every single day, I absolutely would. I’ve been going here for over 10 years and they still blow me away every time. The food is always super fresh, full of flavor, and the options are endless. Some of my go-to favorites: Lemon Chicken, light, crispy, and so fresh. The Vegetarian Mushroom Tofu delicious 😋The Spicy Sea Bass bold and packed with authentic flavors. What sets Chef Ping apart is not only the incredible menu, but also the outstanding service and attention to detail. After 10+ years of dining here, I can confidently say they never disappoint. A true gem and one of the best dining experiences in the area.

“First visit after seeing years worth of recommendations on Nextdoor.”
First visit after seeing years worth of recommendations on Nextdoor. I must say, it was as amazing as everyone said it was! Egg Rolls were average but the Crab Rangoon, Hot and Sour Soup, Kung Pao Beef, and Almond Chicken were out of this world. Traditional mustard sauce cleared my sinuses the way I like it and the sweet and sour sauce was perfect!!! Already ready to go back. The Chef gets an A+++++!!!

“Update: Still great and consistently good EVERY time we have eaten here.”
Update: Still great and consistently good EVERY time we have eaten here. Good service and excellent food. We met friends for lunch and got there about 11:35. They open at 11:30 and already every table was filled! I had the pad thai and my husband had the sesame chicken with rice. The portions are huge and everything was very flavorful. The egg rolls were good and nice and light (not greasy at all). Our total bill, including a generous tip was $25. My only complaint is that they are too efficient. We were not finished with our soup when the entrees arrived. Other than that, we will happily make the 50 minute drive here again!
