I’ve tried Jamaican food from so many places in Chicago and so far, this is the best I’ve had. I drove 30 minutes from the city to this location and as you can see from the pictures, it was totally worth it. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the beef patty and combination plate (with oxtail, jerk chicken and extra plantains). The oxtail was nice and tender, the jerk chicken was tasty and delicious, not dry at all. I’m personally not a fan of overripe plantain but the overall experience was good. The rice and peas was very tasty, not dry at all and the beef patty was good. The food was also hot and ready upon pickup. 10/10 recommend! I’ll definitely be back.

Food was amazing. I got the jerk chicken, it was spicy, smoky, and juicy. The lady was very nice, I arrived before they opened and she still let me in - I knew the wait would be worth it. Make sure you check this place out next time you’re in the Lakeview area.

We were greeted the every moment we entered this business, the gentleman was welcoming and took our order with precision. When you enter the restaurant you will see beautiful and abundant plants cascading the foyer I eat from anyone who can take care of plants. I would with a shadow of a doubt recommend this place for authentic flavors. I will patronize this place again, again, again etc. #customerservice👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

My favorite Authentic Jamaican Food. Drive 1hr just to get Jamaican. Customer service is great! Plates are meaty. Stew Fish w/Red Beans and Rice and Cabbage & Brown Stew Chicken. The best! ❤️

Jerk chicken, and curry chicken was very good and flavorful. Sides: cabbage rice and beans and plantains came with it. Cabbage was cooked perfectly, not over or undercooked. Friendly staff. Parking is on the street.
