I was visiting a friend and she said it was a must have--she was absolutely right! I got the vegan mafe, my friend got cebbu yap, and then we split the plantains and veggie pastel. All amazing! Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

Badou and Daniel are so nice. 😇 Cooked the meal fresh and kindly corrected my order when there was a misunderstanding. I'm looking forward to returning. I want to try everything on the menu that is pescatarian friendly. I had veggie pastels, Joloff rice, and whole fish. Yummm😋 Support this Black business! Keep up the great work, everyone!

Been eating from Badou for years and I have never been disappointed! Everything I’ve had is delicious so it’s hard to pick a favorite but I tend to order the Yassa Fish more than anything else. I was very happy to see him at Vegandale this summer. Congrats to your continued success!

The service is absolutely amazing. The consideration for customer experience is phenomenal, with a care to connect and cater to customer needs on a level beyond what is normally offered by other restaurants and staff. The food is delicious, I cleaned every bit of it off my plate. Would highly recommend!

This place is incredible! My partner and I are both vegan and we found this place through Vegandale. It is an amazing spot for vegans and Omni alike- the food is delicious and the flavors are spot on. The owner is also extremely friendly and made sure we got the best dishes on our first trip and our second trip was even better! I highly suggest the vegan mafe.

I really enjoyed the atieke. It was beautifully dished and served. If you want something different about your dish just ask, and they will make it to your liking. The owners are very friendly also. I took a picture of my dish after cutting in to the fish. The bisap is also very good.

Absolutely delicious food. Don't sleep on this spot. It's super cozy, friendly, and some of the best chicken I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend the Mafe Chicken, jerk chicken, fataya, bissap, and literally everything on the menu. Call ahead to double check they are open.

This place is amazing. Super welcoming and friendly owners and staff. We got the veggie balls and meat pastel to start. Wow. The fried dough of the pastel was insane. We also got the chicken and peas, jerk and jollof and the veggie national dish. Everyone loved theirs! I can speak to the chicken and peas - it was 1000% one of those craveable dishes that will follow you around for the rest of your life. Perfect mustard and wine based sauce, tender chicken and super savory jollof rice on the side. Damn. Highly recommend - we wanna try their whole menu! Oh, and the hibiscus drink was amazing! Get some to go and mix with some white wine and La croix - chefs kiss!

Oh my Gosh. What a wonderful surprise. I went there not expecting anything fantastic to happen. Not good, not bad. Just expected to get a meal after a long, hard, day at work. Well Surpise, something fantastic did happen. The food was delicious. I have to put this on my list of places to revisit. I ordered Jerk Chicken and Jolaf Rice. The chicken was spiced just right and the rice was fresh (not that hard, bottom of the pot stuff. No this was a softer texture and was very flavorful). I'm sure they can bring spice flavors down if you don't like spicy. But check their menu. The have lots of flavorful looking dishes.

Ordered their Thiebou Djen Jolof (fish with rice) and chicken pastels and loved both dishes! The rice especially stood out as having a full flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more!
