NYC born and raised...so I was excited to find a NY bagel shop in lincolnwood. This is a Pop and ma type of a place.
This spot should be ashamed to call themselves a New York bagel spot. The bagels are cakey, not chewy. Tiny not large.

“Without a doubt, the best bagel I’ve had in Chicago.”
Without a doubt, the best bagel I’ve had in Chicago. Authentic NY style bagel spot with tons of baked goods. Bagel is amazingly crispy and the everything had so much flavor without just being overly salty like some places do. Also got a bialy and the cream cheese was fantastic! Brings me right back to visiting my uncle in New York as a kid. 10/10, Will be back. (and next time, I’m buying a t-shirt!)

“One word for this place: DELICIOUS.”
One word for this place: DELICIOUS! The freshly baked bagel with the Lox spread (salmon cream cheese) is the way to go! They work really fast to get all the customers out in a timely manner. They also sell other goodies but my eyes were only on the bagel! Since they get busy it does get a little tight inside. If you’re around this area then you must stop by here and try for yourself! There is a small parking lot with limited space but I never had trouble the two times I went back to back.

I drove up north from Andersonville after hearing great reviews about New York Bagel & Bialy fresh baked bagels, and was not disappointed. We went Saturday morning, around 10am. There was a line out the door, but it moved at a reasonable pace without anyone rushing around. It probably took no more than 10 minutes to order, and another 5-10 minutes to get our New York Breakfast sandwich and bagel/spread. They have a great selection of fresh baked desserts and sweets, which I'll be getting next time! Great price for the quality and quantity, and easy to share.

The Reuben on toasted sesame seed bagel with Muenster cheese was great. So is their raspberry, apricot, chocolate drizzle and cinnamon raisin ruegalah. I went back today and it was just as good. The sesame seed bagel is so fresh and delicious. I doubled down on the ruegalah; two of each. 😋

I've wanted to try this place for a while and I was finally in the area to stop by! I loved and appreciated the mom and pop shop feel. Service was quick and hospitable. When I took a bite of my New York Breakfast on an everything bagel.... Omg SO good. I've always been a breakfast sandwich bagel girl and this was THE BEST. The bagel was so so fresh and warm. Definitely stopping by when I get the chance! I'm not sure how long they were open 24 hours but on the door there were updated hours posted.

This bagel spot is an absolute gem. Their bagels are everything you want—crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. It’s been around for as long as I can remember, and it never misses. The moment you walk in, you're hit with that intoxicating smell of fresh-baked bagels and cream cheese—it’s the kind of smell that instantly makes you hungry, even if you just ate. I love bringing people here for the first time and watching their faces light up. It’s one of those rare places that always delivers.

Love coming here for a lox sandwich on an onion bagel with chive cream cheese. Depending on what time you go, there might be a long wait time, and it’s a bit annoying standing in line as it can get crowded, but the bagels are worth the wait. Will return every time I’m craving a bagel. 💗
