“What a GREAT place.”

What a GREAT place. We were here because we were getting our knives sharpened up the street. The food was made to order and so tasty!! What a wonderful neighborhood find. Serbian food. It is 2 minutes off the highway out to o’hare (Harlem exit) so next time you are stuck on I90. Get off and have a wonderful meal.

I saw this place was highly rated so I had to try it. First of all, place is very welcoming and friendly. I was not familiar with the menu but nice lady at counter was patient and helpful. Went with half cevapi on flatbread with fry’s. It was all I could handle. Absolutely delicious, a little wait because everything was made to order. It was so good I left with some fresh sausage to make later. That was fantastic also. I won’t be driving past this place without stopping in, ever. Highly recommended.

I always love coming here. Lazic Deli has the best Cevacici (Cevaps) in Chicago! I have yet to try something here that I didn't like. Food is always fresh and cooked to order. You will be harder pressed to find a better balkan place in the Chicagoland area!

The first time I went to a Serbian Deli OMG, everyone should come. Firstly, the staff is so friendly. She is so wonderful and kind. Makes you feel like ur home. Makes u feel so welcomed. Then when u see the food! The portions are super large! You definitely won't leave hungry! The food tasted so amazing. Everything is made fresh! From the stews to the breads. The Burek is just delicious ! You just have to come and try it for yourself. They offer great food that feels taste like home!

All my recommendations for this place. Serbian restaurants and market foods. Very good market and restaurant. Everything I said is nothing then how is the food over there. Every meat is home made meat and they prepare meat for selling. Have chicken, pork, lamb, beef. Like you can but fresh meat and prepare at home and the same way you can buy meat and they will prepare for you and you can eat inside or outside. You can also order food but the phone and they will make foosd for you. One of the best Serbian restaurant in Chicago. Meat is always fresh and they have all kind of meat what have in Serbia. Like cevapi, pljeskavice, gurmaske pljeskavice, punjene cevapi and the rest of the meat. People who work over there is very kind and friendly people, and they are always ready to help you and explain what kind of meat is there. They prepare food also great. They prepare food on the grill and food is amazing and very tasty and delicious. You have to go there and try. Also they have pecenje from pork and lamb, and you can order for your holiday and they will make for you. Like all my recommendations for this place. Local is small but with soul, if you eat inside will be like you eat at grandma home and you will feel like that the same. Thank you so much guys for good food and meat and see you again!

Lazic Deli catered our Slava and the food was INCREDIBLE! Aleks was lovely to work with, everything was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Cheese pita was SO GOOD (you can see in the photos there was hardly any left!) We will absolutely use them again for next slava!

“Really good food and big portions.”

Really good food and big portions. Nice staff and the Burek is really good even if I wish it had more filling inside…it’s crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The atmosphere is cute and quiet and there is ample free parking on the street. A must try bc they also have Bulgarian cheese here though most of the food is Serbian. They also have really special desserts.
