“lovely people, service was amazing, food was out of this world. would 100% recommend”

“Randomly wandered in looking for a treat, and boy, did I pick the perfect day. My first time trying a Zeppole, and it was so delicious I got four more to go to share with my girlfriend. What a fantastic little bakery. I’ll be back very soon to try their lunch items, which I’m sure will be just as great.”

“I found my happy place! If you haven't been to Ferrara Bakery yet, you’re missing out. The service is so awesome and friendly, and the whole shop just feels so clean and inviting. T Pro tip: Get the fudgie brownie and the tiramisu. They are absolute perfection. It’s the perfect spot to treat yourself at Taylor.”

“After years in Chicago, I stumbled upon this restaurant and it's an instant favorite! The lasagna is a showstopper. Combine that with great service and a very clean atmosphere, and you've got a winner.”

“Just had a lovely paper-wrapped box of Ferrara chocolate covered almonds & remembered how much i love this place, so felt compelled to come review. We’ve eaten here a ton (great sandwiches) but a standout was ordering our thanksgiving sides from Ferrara. We got the fill-your-own cannoli with pumpkin icing. Delicious AND a fun activity! Will be doing this same menu again this year :P”

“So I walked in, and they were out of what I wanted. A gentleman helped me. He was excellent and very courteous. He made me a Cannoli Eclair donut. I was told it's the first of its kind. Maybe it should be an item on the menu from now on. I highly recommend this place, and I definitely will be visiting it more often!”

“Simple, super clean, and welcoming place — my wife and I were delighted.”

“Delicious meatball sub. They had the homemade bread and marinara. Marinara sauce was impeccable with a slightly sweet that took away all bitterness. Best marinara I’ve had in Chicago. The sandwich had super soft bread with extra large but exceptionally seasoned meatballs. The lemoncello cake was very yummy not too overpowering lemon flavor. The chocolate chip cookies have a brown butter taste or maybe toffee but it added a little bit of saltiness to the cookie that balances the sweetness of the chocolate. I would recommend visiting on a trip to little Italy. We were traveling from out of state.”

“What a fantastic old school bakery. They also had sandwiches salads and we saw a lot of takeout of beef sandwiches. Their bakery selections looked fabulous – and they were personalizing a cake for somebody that had been pre-ordered. It’s a cute little old school bakery. We were on a cannoli hunt for the best cannoli in Chicago. We thought there was yummy, but certainly didn’t rank it as our top choice. The staff was super helpful, friendly, and the line moved quickly. There were many seats at the window to enjoy whatever you ordered.”

“Welcoming customer service. Long running Italian bakery. First timer stopped in and asked a frequent customer in line for recommendations. Grilled chicken giardiniera sandwich and Meatball sandwich. The bread was soft & fresh. The chicken had no flavor and dry, needed more dressing. Meatball sandwich was tough and dry. however the marinara sauce was rich and tasty. Though deserts weren’t recommended, I got a cannoli, and It was hard and tasted frozen like the customer mentioned.”
