“A longtime customer got me a free chocolate chip cookie and stated this is Chicago’s best kept secret, and he was right on point”
Outstandingly FRESH & DELICIOUS Cookies. Thank you. Highly Recommend.
Good food with good people. Can't ask for anything more. NOTE: As of this writing, this location had 666 reviews.
I found my happy place. If you haven't been to Ferrara Bakery yet, you’re missing out.
This bakery is one of those places that makes you feel like you are part of their community right when you walk in - regulars and new friends alike.
Welcoming customer service. Long running Italian bakery.
This place charged me twice and then a quisi manager had the nerve to try to not give me a refund when an employee confirmed I had been charged twice.
I was so excited to try desserts in this bakery.

“I found my happy place.”
I found my happy place! If you haven't been to Ferrara Bakery yet, you’re missing out. The service is so awesome and friendly, and the whole shop just feels so clean and inviting. T Pro tip: Get the fudgie brownie and the tiramisu. They are absolute perfection. It’s the perfect spot to treat yourself at Taylor.

After years in Chicago, I stumbled upon this restaurant and it's an instant favorite! The lasagna is a showstopper. Combine that with great service and a very clean atmosphere, and you've got a winner.

Just had a lovely paper-wrapped box of Ferrara chocolate covered almonds & remembered how much i love this place, so felt compelled to come review. We’ve eaten here a ton (great sandwiches) but a standout was ordering our thanksgiving sides from Ferrara. We got the fill-your-own cannoli with pumpkin icing. Delicious AND a fun activity! Will be doing this same menu again this year :P

“So I walked in, and they were out of what I wanted.”
So I walked in, and they were out of what I wanted. A gentleman helped me. He was excellent and very courteous. He made me a Cannoli Eclair donut. I was told it's the first of its kind. Maybe it should be an item on the menu from now on. I highly recommend this place, and I definitely will be visiting it more often!

“Delicious meatball sub.”
Delicious meatball sub. They had the homemade bread and marinara. Marinara sauce was impeccable with a slightly sweet that took away all bitterness. Best marinara I’ve had in Chicago. The sandwich had super soft bread with extra large but exceptionally seasoned meatballs. The lemoncello cake was very yummy not too overpowering lemon flavor. The chocolate chip cookies have a brown butter taste or maybe toffee but it added a little bit of saltiness to the cookie that balances the sweetness of the chocolate. I would recommend visiting on a trip to little Italy. We were traveling from out of state.

“Much like the now closed Dinkel’s and still trucking along Roeser’s, this place is a Chicago institution.”
Much like the now closed Dinkel’s and still trucking along Roeser’s, this place is a Chicago institution. A longtime customer got me a free chocolate chip cookie and stated this is Chicago’s best kept secret, and he was right on point!!! But all the baked goods looked amazing!! I took home some of their famous cannolis, chocolate eclairs and a fudge brownie!! All exceptional!! This is a must visit. I saw they had sandwiches as well, but I was on my way to lunch at Petit Pomeroy (ill have a write up about this place too), so did not want to spoil my lunch. Another time for sandwiches, but these baked goods are a must try!

“An original gem that's left from the old neighborhood of Taylor St.”
An original gem that's left from the old neighborhood of Taylor St. Great food, great bakery items to choose from. Nice place to sit in for lunch. Cannot go wrong with anything here. Prices are good for the quality of food you get. Hope it stays around for another 100 years.

“Real Italian pastries and cakes.”
Real Italian pastries and cakes. Had my wife's birthday cake ordered and the flavor and quality were astonishing, this place is now my first go-to place for cake orders. Had also some italian pastry, coffee and some sandwiches that were highly appreciated. They have a selection of main courses too that I haven't tried yes, but by the look and smell I watched from the tables nearby, I would try next time I will be there.
