“Super chill spot.”

Super chill spot! Barista greeted me with a smile, took my order, and was very pleasant. They prepared my cafe colao (latte) and bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwhich quickly. Coffee was tastey and the sandwhich was like a pressed sorta, super good! Prices were totally reasonable. I'll definitely come back!

best cuban sandwich in town so far and I am from Chicago! I also had the bread with butter. i am used to having sugar on my bread and butter but it was good. i just think the french bread they use is outstanding. coffee, of course, good. Also had a guava tart, it was delicious. not too sweet. the tart part was a little hard for me but I love soft cookies so hopefully that helps you gauge for your taste. The music was salsa the whole time I was there. they have a cute patio which I wanted to sit at but was too hot for that day. The staff is awesome! so nice and courteous. Definitely coming back. Want to try the iced coquito.

Great service, music, sandwiches, pastries and coffee! A one stop shop for any craving! I had an iced coquito latte, an egg, steak and cheese sandwich and a guava cheese pastry and they were all aaaamaazing! If you’re ordering a sandwich it definitely will be worth the price because it’s stuffed with all the right portions!

“This is one of my favorite cafes in Chicago.”

This is one of my favorite cafes in Chicago. I go here at least once a month. I get the black coffee and share a pastry and breakfast sandwich with my partner. She loves the cafe colao drink. Our favorite pastry is the guava doughnut. It’s so soft and full of delicious guava goodness. The breakfast sandwiches are all great. It’s hard to pick a favorite one. The bread they use in the sandwiches are so soft too. Pillowy goodness! I also bought pastries for my bachelor party, and it was a hit! Continue making great food Cafe Colao, and we will continue to share it with our family and friends. 🙂 Oh yeah, and the manager and staff are great too!

It's really hard finding puertorican flan de queso but not only did I find it here but it was delicious, you can order a slice and they also give you the option to order a whole pie on certain days. They had other things there that looked great but I was looking for only 1 thing, 10/10 will be back to try more.
