“Great experience. Clean restaurant and attentive service. Enjoyed the chicken tiki masala. Gulab jamun with ice cream was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal.”

“Came here with two other couples. We all had different dishes. I ordered the hot and sour soup which was excellent - different from the Chinese style hot and sour. I had the goat tikka masala which was also very good - tender and flavorful. Everybody else all agreed their food was delicious. If you're in the mood for some delicious Indian food - definitely a place to go.”

“This place was likely had been a bar or saloon back in the day that was converted to an Indian restaurant. It totally gives old school Chicago bar vibe except with Indian menu that is outstanding. All the entrees are nicely prepared with lots of flavors. While the “bar” portion of the name isn’t anything to write home about, this place is still recommended.”

“We kicked things off with 4 garlic naans, fresh out of the tandoor — soft, buttery, and packed with that perfect garlicky punch. They paired beautifully with the two curries we ordered: 🍛 Paneer Tikka Masala – creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The paneer was perfectly grilled and soaked up the masala like a dream. 🍲 Kadai Paneer – bold, spicy, and aromatic with bell peppers and onions adding that extra zing. A classic done right! Everything was smooth, well-balanced, and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the spices were just right — not too overpowering, but enough to keep your taste buds dancing. ☕ To wrap up the meal, we had a nice masala tea — warm, comforting, and the perfect end to a flavorful journey. 💬 Final thoughts? We loved it. The food, the ambiance, and the service all came together for a great dining experience. Will definitely visit again!”

“I do like the thoughtful service and the glass topped tables with linen. There is free parking around the back. Lamb Rogan Josh was pretty good. Chicken tikka Marsala had a very bland flavor which had no indication this was Indian cuisine we are eating. The naan was burned and paper thin. Mango lassi was lacking flavor… this is where I got offended 😂 give me an extra spoon of mango pulp. Sadly won’t be back.”
“Great food. Clean. Good portions. Great prices. Glad I finally stopped in”
“Nice variety and a large menu, including lamb and goat. They adjust the spice level to taste. Jasmine rice was tasty. 6 choices of sauces. TV set plays sports.”
“Ordered vegetable samosa, chicken pakora and garlic naan for takeout today. I met the owner who was personable and welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful, decor and table setting. My brother and I look forward to dine in! Thank you for your hospitality!”
