The atmosphere was fun and unforgettable and decked out in Hawaiian decor with an unexpected (and awesome) mix of Christmas and Star Wars touches that somehow worked perfectly together

AO Hawaiian Hideout — established chinese in South Loop with a loyal following. It gets busy, and that's part of the appeal. Good cocktails round out an already strong menu, and solid veggie options. Rulookinatme2: "The never had a bad dish, and the food is always cooked fresh whenever I visit" [$$]

🌱Vegan & vegetarian friendly — real options, not one sad pasta.

Beautiful venue, delicious food, and lovely wait staff! Portions were very big and $50 comfortably fed 2 people. The huli huli chicken was phenomenal, the rice was so fragrant and well made. Would also recommend the nachos :-) We will be back!

Tiki bar fun! The decor is the best and a very large selection of tiki mugs to buy. What a gem.

Very cute atmosphere, I love the decorations. Also, the service was amazing, with at least 4 people checking on our food, cleaning up dishes and refilling water at all times. They were all very friendly and welcoming and willing to help and the food came out super fast. The food was absolutely amazing with big generous portions. I recommend the poke bowls, and their traditional dishes as well as the appetizers. Delicious and very pretty. 100% recommend.

We were in town from San Antonio and decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere is fun, the service was very good, and the food was great! We ordered the island nachos and the Kalua pig. Both dishes were fantastic and the portions huge. My husband and I shared and we could not finish. Definitely recommend.

Came for the food, stayed for the vibes. This tiki lounge is so fun. They have a bunch of drinks, massive food portions, and tiki mugs of every pop culture character in existence. They have brunch too so I might have to check that out!

Fantastic Food and Drinks. Everything we ate tasted fantastic and our Pina Colada's were amazing! The tiki cups for sale at the front are pretty tacky though and some things hanging by the windows needed to be dusted. Would gladly eat here again.

My family and I have been coming here since 2021. The service is always great! They're all friendly and very attentive each and everytime! Absolutely amazing atmosphere and ambiance from the lighting, to the music, to the decor. The food is delicious! My personal favorite is the pork belly tacos and the Bird of Paradise cocktail (mango colada). So good! 😋

This was my first time visiting this beautiful restaurant, despite living in the loop for 5years+, a huge loss for me! I’ve been missing out! This place is such a welcoming and homey vibe while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere! Definitely gave what the name displays, “Hawaii”! The music, the pictures and ALL the staff were amazing! The food and drinks are|were added bonuses! Definitely a place for a solo, romantic and|or friends. My friend and I went and we had a great time! Great thanks to our very attentive, patient and hospitable waitress, Hon (Han)- I don’t want to miss this chance to express gratitude to the right person so I’m using both names because I’m still tipsy. But she recommended two margs and they were straight lit and yummy! And she was very sweet! A huge reason to a great first time visit! I can’t wait to return to try new dishes and drinks!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The vibe was great, the atmosphere was great, the service was great, and most importantly the good was great. Rare type of place that does them all well. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

If you are considering eating here, do it. This was genuinely one of my best meals that I had in my trip to Chicago. The service was so amazing and the food was top tier. The portions are also big which I appreciate so much. I would definitely recommend going here with a group of friends (or alone) because the interior is also so fun! I will definitely be visiting again!
