Great, warm interior. Semi-circular tufted seat banquettes and wall tables. Ask for server Ned B. Wine and ales very good. An order of Burrata came w toasted rolls, roasted tomato and pesto. Very good. Fried Calamari was nicely cooked and had a side of ginger dipping sauce, also good. Surprised at the 15% meals tax. I’m from out of state.

The blue horse tavern side was not open so we were ushered to the Diablo Tacos side. We still had access to the menu of the blue horse but the vibes were totally different from what we expected. Service was really good. Our server was really attentive. Definitely mention any allergies beforehand. We had someone who was allergic to oranges and she had ordered a drink with orange in it. Thankfully we mentioned it and the server made sure before the drink was made. We also got free chips and salsa. The red salsa was better. The green salsa wasn’t very flavorful. Definitely do the sale spritz! The maple old fashioned was amazing. Best drink.

Bartender is great-Kelly I think was her name. The counters were super sticky and gross. Love the vibe in here though! And the cocktails are great.

Had a great experience at Blue Horse Tavern. Zoey and her team were amazing, they were so empathetic, kind and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. Great food, great drinks, would really recommend visiting!

Had such a blast last night listening to Dan Jackson kick off Encore!Evanston with his 90s guitar set. Just like MTV Unplugged but with delicious cocktails and tacos, too! Will definitely return next week!
