Let me just say that I was blown away by their vibe, ambiance, and most importantly, their food. A candle lit dinner for a date? I approve. Service was exceptional as well. We tried beef empanada which was so flavorful and juicy and the chimichurrri sauce was just so damn good i wanted to drink the whole sauce. For our mains, we got the Brazilian cut and the fillet, cooked to perfection. The server said they cook their steaks on the rare side so i went with medium but next time i think i’ll stick to my medium-rare. Overall, i’ll be back. cant wait to try more of their dishes.

A warm & lively Argentina steak dining experience with BYOB. The staff were incredibly welcoming and brought out wine glasses right away. We started with beef tongue which was fragrant and full of flavor, then moved on to the churrasco and filet mignon - both well seasoned and satisfying with great texture overall. Overall a comforting spot for a flavorful steak dinner with vibrant & genuine hospitality. Do call ahead to book as waits can stretch up to an hour during peak dinner times!

Not a hidden gem like after 20 years ago anymore, but concept still strong! BYOB with no corkage fees, exceptional service, and above-average meals. The beef short ribs are a must-try, though the bone-in ribeye was a bit tough. Next time, I'll try the Argentinian cut. Weekdays are best early on - it's quiet, peaceful, and parking's a breeze. Can't wait to come back.

We had a work dinner event for about 10 or 12 people. This space was perfect for the size of our party. The atmosphere is dark and intimate. The food was delightful. Service good. It is a BYO restaurant. There is a small local pantry store just two doors down which I am sure piggy backs off the restaurant for drinks. The array of alcoholic drinks was very fair. Parking was available on the street parking meter needed.

“This was my second time at Tango Sur, and it didn’t disappoint.”

This was my second time at Tango Sur, and it didn’t disappoint. I went on a Sunday around 5pm and got a table out on the patio. We started with the classic provoleta—bubbling hot cheese with red peppers—and it was as good as it sounds. I also had beef sweetbreads, chinchulines (tripe), and Argentinian chorizo on the side. For the main, the entraña (skirt steak) was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Since it’s BYOB, we grabbed a bottle of Argentinian wine from the shop next door, which made the meal even better. To finish, we tried the alfajor with dulce de leche—sweet, rich, and the perfect ending. If I had one small wish, it’d be for nicer wine glasses, but that’s a minor thing compared to how great the food is for the price. I’ll definitely be coming back to keep working my way through their menu.

Everything is delicious.. 😋 oh did I mention it's BYOB!! YEAH 🤣 ALSO, SUPER SEXY OR if you are among friends super cool. Dinner by candlelight who knew? 🕯️ You can sit outside on the patio or inside where it's nice in cool either way it a blast listening to the loud chatter and food feasting with your eyes as those huge sizzling platters of food wiz by. Cheap fare to a bit more pricey entrees. The food is moderately price but the appetizers are cheap but very delicious for example favorable to large portions.,,,one of my many favorites when I'm dining on a dime is the empanadas..... Yum $5 dollar dollar. Anyway check this place out I think it's a big hit. Enjoy

After eating at Tango Sur I was left questioning whether I ever had steak before or not. We had 2 plates: "El Filet" and "entraña" Food El Filet has the option for the 16 or 10 oz. Let me tell you this was the most flavorful, tender and perfectly cooked steak we had. It comes with the spinach mashed potatoes which is fantastic. The entraña was flavorful as well, mine was on the chewier side but still great. It comes with a cooked potato that was good but not super crazy. Service Great service, attentive workers and very respectful. They waited for us to finish our meal before asking if we wanted dessert or the check. This might be small but it's something I appreciate, I don't like when you're mid eating and they bring you the check. Overall great experience, would strongly recommend

“We had a great guys’ night out at Tango Sur.”

We had a great guys’ night out at Tango Sur. It was a Saturday night and we didn’t have a reservation, so it took around an hour to get a table. Luckily, there are plenty of spots nearby to grab a drink while you wait. There’s also a Jewel down the street that sells some decent Malbecs, which is perfect since it’s BYOB. The weather was perfect for patio seating. Our waiter was helpful and quickly got the wine flowing. We started with a mix of empanadas and the provoleta. I usually prefer baked empanadas, but these were filled with moist, flavorful meat and really impressed me. The provoleta was exactly what I expected and paired nicely with the simple table bread. For our mains, we shared the Berenjena, Parillada para Dos, and Lomo Relleno. The Berenjena was something special. It had great complexity and depth, with layers of vegetables and cheese, and the sauce was insane. The Parillada was massive and offered a great variety of meats, just how an Argentinian steakhouse should be enjoyed. The Lomo Relleno was good, but a bit heavy. The sauce kind of blended into the meat and mushrooms without standing out. I’d only recommend it if you’re sharing with a larger group. Honestly, I can’t stop thinking about the Berenjena. I think there was a salad somewhere in the mix, but it wasn’t worth wasting the stomach space. We had a great time and the prices didn’t break the bank. There were even enough leftovers for a solid meal the next day.

I can’t believe we have slept on this amazing byob!!! Go for an exceptional birthday, the whole room sings to you. Eat a steak or meat, that’s what they do best. Only eat on the patio if you have to, the dark room with a candle really sets the scene. We will return!

Excellent 👌 I'm a real big foodie. Every single dish that they brought out was packed with flavors and delicious. The atmosphere was so nice. It's actually the perfect date night space. The ambiance everything about Tango Sur was really on point. The food was so delicious and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. I will definitely be going back!
