It's especially well suited for groups during baseball season, with plenty of seating, a lively atmosphere, and a spacious bar area that's perfect for gathering with friends. The menu offers a wide variety of barbecue options, including plenty of sandwiches and hearty platters to choose from. The food is flavorful, the portions are satisfying, and there is also a good selection of beers and cocktails to pair with your meal. Considering the location, the prices are very reasonable and offer great value. Between the quality barbecue, welcoming atmosphere, and convenient location, this is an excellent spot that I'd happily recommend.”

Their service was friendly, and made the experience even better. The Bloody Marys are hands down the best in Chicago, and the deviled eggs are absolutely out of this world! “We visited Smoke Daddy randomly during Restaurant Week, and honestly, it turned out to be the best decision of the week. From the moment we arrived, the server was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The Restaurant Week offerings were generous, flavorful, and an amazing value. We started with the Brisket Deviled Eggs — topped with smoked brisket and packed with smoky, rich flavor. For entrées, we tried *The Freak*, a sandwich with smoked corned beef, Swiss cheese, slaw, and spicy mustard on rye, which was well-balanced and very satisfying. We also ordered the *Taste of The Daddy*, which was an incredible spread: brisket, pulled pork, a full rack of ribs, half chicken, hot links, mac and cheese, pit beans, slaw, and pickles. It was an impressive amount of food and a fantastic deal for the price. You can really taste the quality of their in-house smoked meats. For sides, we had Mike’s Hot Honey, mac and cheese, onion rings, and smoked pit beans. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the pit beans were especially outstanding — rich, smoky, and full of flavor. We finished with banana pudding. The texture wasn’t exactly how I usually prefer it, but it was still enjoyable and a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the food was abundant, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Combined with excellent service and great value, this place exceeded expectations. Definitely coming back soon.”

“Terrific brunch! An outstanding value as well. Brian, who was pulling double duty as the bartender, did an incredible job taking care of us and making us feel welcome. Nicely done job of decorating for the holidays. Maybe not as much as in years past, but still very festive. Fantastic spot to visit before visiting the Christkrindle Market across the street. Food is excellent, between the four of us we tried almost everything on the brunch menu. The Barnyard sandwich and Eggs Benedict are standouts. Caution: the Monkey Bread is addictive. Two minor areas for improvement. Scrambled Eggs came out not hot and the men’s room still smelled of a rowdy crowd for the night before.”
