The food use to be good. As of lately Seems like they cut back on portions, increased prices and itemized everything.
I visited Steve Bites today and had a very disappointing experience with their pricing and charges.
The Italian Beef sandwich is small and pitiful.

This place is a fantastic halal food find. Their menu is impressively extensive, offering almost everything you’d expect from a classic American lineup—sandwiches, wraps, Italian beef, Philly cheesesteaks, tacos, rice bowls, and salads. We tried a variety of items, and everything was flavorful and well prepared. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, which makes it even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to again.

Great food and friendly service! We’ve stopped in twice before DePaul basketball games and have not been disappointed- had the chicken burger, falafel, Italian Beef and Philly steak with fries and onion rings and everything was tasty! Also clean with plenty of seating!

Food is really good and of course 100% Halal. I got the chicken Pasta a small and it was so filling and prices are really affordable. Owner was super nice and gave me my friends cheesecake on the house. Definitely recommend!

“The food was very very good.”
The food was very very good! I got the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the fries were the perfect amount of crispy. The service was excellent, cashier was so sweet and the owner of the place gave me and my friends cheesecake on the house! Overall 12/10 experience, would come again!! (all food is halal certified as well)

Steve's Bite is a clean and efficient diner on Cermak rd. The sandwiches are made to order and a bit pricey. The service is great and there's little decor, but the food is fresh & tasty.

“We had an event at McCormick and was looking for a casual dinner with kids.”
We had an event at McCormick and was looking for a casual dinner with kids. Decided to try this due to the variety on the menu. Across all of us we got a chicken sandwich, rice bowl with jumbo shrimp, gyro, chicken wings, and a cesaer salad. The chicken sandwich was simple but their house sauce made it great. Everyone loved what they got. However I got the ceaser salad as an extra and it was the only thing we didn't love. Would have preferred some shaved parmesan instead of boat loads of powdered, canned stuff.
