Port and Park Restaurant & Bar — an Uptown american mainstay. There's real intention behind the cocktail list. Good service that doesn't feel rehearsed. "Their bartender Tommy is amazing and imparts the best customer service and conversation" — Natalie Frakes

“The beignets at the end were unexpectedly delicious and perfect little pillows”
“This spot is a great neighborhood place for both food and drinks.”
This spot is a great neighborhood place for both food and drinks. The menu has a good mix of comfort dishes and shareable plates, and everything comes out flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere is laid-back but still lively enough to feel fun, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s a solid choice for a casual dinner or a night out with friends.

“Amazing brunch food for good prices.”
Amazing brunch food for good prices. Sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing. Got the bottomless mimosas (truly bottomless) and the food was so fresh and good.

“Amazing brunch space with a full service bar and an amazing bartender to boot.”
Amazing brunch space with a full service bar and an amazing bartender to boot! The espresso martinis are crisp and delicious. I almost never finish an entire dish at a restaurant but the biscuits and gravy had me in a chokehold and I left all but a crumb behind. This is a place not to miss!

“Kelsey made my experience here so amazing…the person, the heart, the passion.”
Kelsey made my experience here so amazing…the person, the heart, the passion. And Kelsey was so attentive and friendly. What a lovely place to have breakfast lunch or dinner or drinks! A bar that has a huge space for food and drinks, nostalgic decorations, a fun digital dart station, flat screen TVs, 2 separate dining areas and many vintage speakers, phones, pictures of Chicago’s CTA, and much more. It’s a vast space. It’s on the corner of Southport and Irving Park Road in Chicago…a hot area of Lakeview. Parking is free until 5pm if you are not a permit holding resident. I enjoyed my California Frittata which was an omelet with spinach and tomato with chili powder sprinkled wedge fries. It had plenty of melted cheese on top. A great place for food and fun with family and friends. Free WiFi.

I’ll ask again - why did I wait so long to come here? Passed it a million times and thought it was cute but never stopped in. So glad I did. Their happy hour is excellent! $8 for select apps and then wine for $7 and $8 classic cocktails. Excellent food! Their bartender Tommy is amazing and imparts the best customer service and conversation. Will be coming here for dinner soon and maybe brunch! Check this spot out!

“My best friend and I came to visit Chicago this weekend and came to the Port & Park Bistro and it didn’t disappoint.”
My best friend and I came to visit Chicago this weekend and came to the Port & Park Bistro and it didn’t disappoint. We had heard that Chicago was known for their food and the Port & Park proved that. We came from brunch and had bottomless mimosas and our service was phenomenal. The food came out and we were even more pleased. It was amazing! The food for both of us was SO good. I got the avocado toast, she got the california frittata, and we shared chocolate chip pancakes. As someone who normally doesn’t care enough to leave reviews for places, I had to for this place because it was genuinely so good! Definitely come for brunch if you are visiting!!!!!

“We went here on the last day of Chicago's Restaurant Week and I'm so glad that we did.”
We went here on the last day of Chicago's Restaurant Week and I'm so glad that we did. The place is super cute and the food was delicious! I had a wonderful time. I ordered the salmon. It came on top of garlic mashed potatoes with a side of green beans. I initially thought it was drowning in sauce, but it was so tasty, that I didn't mind as much as I thought I would after the first bite. My boyfriend ordered a cheese burger and fries. It must've been good, because it was gone in 15 minutes or less 😂 Our server, Kelsey, was incredibly attentive and sweet. We were welcomed with open arms, a big smile and light-hearted banter. A good time was had!

Had the last reservation for Chicago restaurant week and it didn't disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed the lentil soup, P.E.I mussels, middle eastern burrata, lamb chop, shrimp and grits + dessert. Thank you Port and Park, we'll definitely be back. Service was great, Kelsey was awesome! Thank you.

“I stopped here for Restaurant Week 2024 on January 20th and let me tell you, there menu doesn't disappoint.”
I stopped here for Restaurant Week 2024 on January 20th and let me tell you, there menu doesn't disappoint. In fact, the meal I had was incredible. Started with a Beermosa - Apex Predator, Triple Sec, and Orange Juice. It's fabulous. Next I had Shrimp and Grits. It was loaded with Cajun seasoning, Parmesan Cheese, cherry tomatoes, and house made pesto. Brunch ended with a dessert - A Katayef, a homemade pancake stuffed with queso fresca, ricotta, orange zest, lightly fried and covered with a honey syrup drizzle. The service was slow but that's because there was a run on the kitchen. That should tell you to come here, but come early! I have them 5 stars for service and yes, yes they deserve it. Port & Park Bistro & Bar Rocks!!!

“Great place, great food and great service.”
Great place, great food and great service! My wife and I started with a delicious Manhattan and a glass of wine. I ordered the Chicken Milanese which was out of this world. My wife had shrimp tacos that she could not stop talking about. To Top it off, we had Mike the fantastic bartender! He was terrific from the moment we sat down at the bar. He was very welcoming, personable and provided outstanding service. We're looking forward to our next meal there.
