Parlay might be my favorite spot to grab brunch/dinner and watch games. The atmosphere is just what I look for in a sports bar and they have amazing happy hour deals. They recently changed up their menu and I can’t wait to try the rest of the food because what I have had so far is 10/10. Drinks are good and reasonably price for downtown Chicago

Parlay at Joy District is such a fun place to get bottomless mimosas and brunch with friends! Their brunch menu is delicious and includes french toast, breakfast burgers, and more! The tater tots were my favorite! There are also a ton of TV's around to watch sports. The music and atmosphere are also so fun!

The appetizers we got were definitely to share, on the larger side. The nachos were very cheesy, even the chips on bottom had toppings! Came to watch the cubs game here, and they had an NFL game on too. Dj played music during commercials. Did not have a sports bar vibe.

Went at 11am for a Saturday brunch and it was a decent crowd. Definitely recommend making reservations beforehand. The DJ was great. They had football and baseball playing on the televisions. The food was absolutely delicious! However, the bartender was horrible. She wasn’t even bartending, the barback was making all the drinks that came in. She didn’t speak to us until we had to flag her down to order. Also, she got my drink order wrong, then served me a drink that had been returned by a table. As if I wasn’t sitting at the bar and could see. Then the bill included a gratuity for just me, after such horrible service. My 4 stars are solely based on the tastiness of the food and the amazing DJ.

Over the weekend I celebrated my birthday with friends and family. We had several reservations, when my guest arrived we were told for comfort and so that we could mingle we could use a room called the Mezz upstairs. That was very nice. It was A nice room, but it's really no circulation so it was very hot. The lights didn't work at the bar area they have in the room so it was dark and ppl who sat there had to eat in the dark. The room was very dim as well. We asked for the lights to be turned on at the bar several times. I think finally management told us that it was blown. Mimosas took a while to come as several guest ordered unlimited. So I'm not sure if we truly got our 2 hrs. We ordered food no problems there, but when the food came back the servers were all over the place trying to figure out who food was what. There has to be a better process. One of my guest never received her food. She wasn't charged, but I would've loved for her to eat. My food was sent back several times, but I believe it was Taylor really wanted to get it right . I thought that was awesome !! Aja and Taylor helped upstairs and they did a great job although I felt it was to many people for them. We did have a few drinks upstairs as well. The furniture needs a good cleaning, but it's nice up there. Overall it was a good time, just a few mishaps that sometimes kill the vibe. I did request a song and they played it so I appreciate that. Overall it was a good time. I'll have to come check it out with my husband to get the real vibe of brunch.
