Really solid place!! Amazing cocktails, really good gnocchi, salad was fantastic. Burger was just ok nothing memorable. However the staff is incredible and the bartender gave us free shots!

Love this new neighborhood spot, it’s fancy and I loved having NYE dinner here! Their ambiance is reason enough to go but also the chef worked at French Laundry! Their sourdough with burrata omg! And gnocchi too. The burger looked sensational. Service was on point. You gotta go!

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I came here for dinner and had a great time the atmosphere is just lovely but what I truly enjoyed was our drinks and food. Definitely will be back soon. The drinks were made just right while every dish was individually amazing it’s in own way. Highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience at Oliver’s. I celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday there, and the staff made the night feel really special. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and they even surprised us with a handwritten card and some complimentary snacks. Thank you to the team for making our evening memorable — we’ll definitely come back again!

This place has a vibe similar to Maxwells Trading. I was told that the brains behind the kitchen team is linked to The French Laundry (I dont have a basis for comparison); and I found that the food was excellent. I have heard much about their cheeseburger, which was my intention to try but instead I started with their oysters capped with osetra caviar in a strawberry vinegar base. Amazing from the briny to the tart to the delicate chew and pop of the caviar and smoked trout roe. Next was their crazy toast (part of their daily Golden Hour menu). This very thick yet soft and fluffy sourdough is grilled in beef fat and then covered in their homemade steak sauce and whipped parmesan. This was super flavorful and hearty. But their truffle gnocchi was the star!!! The comté was velvety and creamy which perfectly complimented the pillowy gnocchi! I could eat tons of this dish!! The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu pricing, though I didnt pay close attention and I believe that I was slightly overcharged. Nonetheless, a definite spot to come back to next time I am in the area.

Oliver’s is THE best, every single time. Aiden, our server was polite and engaged in friendly/funny banter with us. He had amazing recommendations. An amazing server adds so much credit to a dining experience, you rock, Aiden! ALL staff is extremely kind and attentive. Ambiance is impeccably comfortable and chic. The bathrooms are impeccably clean and beautiful, with toiletries available and amazing scented hand soap. The food is incredible. You MUST start with the toast royal, but don’t fill up on it! Bring it home and eat it cold the next day like I did. Fantastic. I highly recommend the burger, it’s seasoned and cooked to perfection and comes with the best kind of French fries with a unique and delicious dipping sauce. We got the roasted chicken which was LARGE and to die for. The gnocchi could potentially be the best thing on their menu, this is also a must. We ended the night with key lime pie and caramel pie because we couldn’t decide and that was a great idea. The chocolate chip cookies are always a hit, too. I’ll be coming to Oliver’s for the rest of my life and recommending it to everyone I know! What a special place. Kudos to the owners and all of the staff.

From the atmosphere to the service down to every single item we ordered, everything about Oliver's was exceptional. The toast royale was four huge pieces of sourdough toasted to golden perfection in beef fat and served with the tastiest butter. I didn't think that bread and butter could be so good. The truffle gnocchi was unbelievable: soft and cheesy heaven with just the right amount of saltiness from the parmesan and kick of spice from the pepper. Miller's half chicken is truly the best chicken dish I have ever had. The chicken, which was incredibly juicy and already flavorful by itself, was taken to another level with the herbaceous and slightly tangy crème faîche. The octopus was insanely tender. My butter knife glided right through with just a little pressure, no cutting needed. I have never seen anything like it. The green garlic sauce was bright and herbaceous while yuzu kosho and lime zest brought a sharp, citrusy lift that kept me coming back for more. Service was so warm, courteous, and attentive. This was definitely one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I can't wait for my next visit.

This has to be some of the best food I’ve had in a minute. Everything was so delicious and made so beautifully. I don’t think there’s a single bad thing on the menu. The truffle gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had. The cheeseburger melts in your mouth. The oysters are fresh and divine. The cookies and milk was absolutely delicious. The key lime pie was beyond amazing. All the cocktails were so well crafted.

It’s been 3 days since we came here and my wife and I are still talking about it. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, this is the BEST martini I have had in Chicago. The caviar stuffed olive is an experience that’s worth trying. Service was perfect, our server was attentive and provided excellent recommendations. Atmosphere was great, it doesn’t have a total 1930s vibe, but it also was very simple. I will be back to try the dishes we did not get to.

Wow. Just wow. Chef Alex is truly one of a kind—so creative and gracious. It was such a treat to meet him. This place feels like a hidden oasis, just 5-10 minutes from Chinatown, and absolutely worth the trip after work. I already want to make this a regular spot! The food is incredible—simple but so thoughtfully made with high-quality ingredients. I think I just found my new favorite burger in Chicago. It completely blew me away—Loyalist has some serious competition! Everything we tried was amazing: the fries, yellowtail crudo, cucumber salad, fried artichoke… and that crème fraîche beef fat sourdough with caviar butter? Unreal. Easily one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks (highly recommend a martini)—everything about this place is special. I can’t wait to come back and bring my family!
