Honky Tonk BBQ / The Tonk
Honky Tonk BBQ / The Tonk — american in Pilsen. Classic neighborhood feel, nothing here chasing trends. They're doing something different, and it works. Moises Treviño Garcia: "The wood-smoke flavor was deep and rich, layering each mouthful with that classic smoky goodness" [$$]

“Wow what a cool spot! Food was great and the jazz swing music was adorable. If you need to talk... probably not a place for you. It's loud.”

“I.ordered the goat cheese salad with 2 sides - chicken breast and greens. Everything was seasoned and tasted great. The cashier was approachable and friendly!”

“Appeler loyer du centre mais permet de visiter le quartier. Carte Akiva le détour pour sa cuisine fumée et en particulier ses ribs. Accueil correct cadre moyen. Prix très correct. Un bon choix si vous voulez manger de bons ribs”

“Thursday open jam night was great, enjoyed great BBQ, good drinks and amazing music!”

“This place never disappoints! I can always rely on The Tonk for a pleasant time! Live music, good energy, tasty food, and refreshing beverages!”

“We randomly popped in here on a Sunday afternoon after shopping at nearby thrift stores and were pleasantly surprised by the chill vibes, great live music and tasty eats. I liked this lil spot!”

“Really dry ribs. At a good bbq joint these should fall off the bone. Cooked “low and slow” apparently. 2 guys I was with got the brisket which was nicer than my meal - but small portions. Service somewhat slow. Sauces were tasty.”

“I had the ribs and corn muffin. The ribs were so dry it was unrecognizable and inedible. Follows behind by the corn muffin. I don't know how they can serve this food. There is only burnt flavor and texture of jerky. Even the cashier couldn't recognize it. Sauce is okay. In response, if your food is not edible don't sell it. Poor reflection on who you are and what you represent. Poor response from owner who cares about quality of her product and brand. Sorry you feel this way and hope you rethink your attitude.”
“Had a great catered lunch from here today and everyone loved it!”
