“What an amazing experience at Adalina! The food was absolutely incredible, every dish was full of flavor, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was just as impressive, and our server made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. What really stood out was that the owner, Miles Muslin, personally came over to our table to ask how everything was. He was incredibly humble, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure every guest had a great experience. You can tell that level of hospitality starts from the top. Thank you to Miles and the entire team for such a memorable evening. I highly recommend Adalina to anyone looking for an outstanding Italian restaurant in Chicago. We’ll definitely be back!”
“My first visit to Adalina, for my birthday, unfortunately didn’t go smoothly. Our server was largely inattentive and, at times, rude, so I reached out to the restaurant afterward. Brooke kindly invited us back, and the second visit truly lived up to Adalina’s reputation. The new server, along with the food runners, was warm and attentive both times. Food-wise, the scallops were some of the best I’ve had, buttery and perfectly soft. The shrimp, bread, and Bluefin tuna tartare were also excellent. My main, the halibut, was fresh and light, a great way to end the meal. We also tried the caviar, gnocchi, and salmon. The gnocchi was overwhelmed by sauce, which masked the pasta itself, and my friends felt the vodka rigatoni portion ran small. For dessert, my friends had the tiramisu and chocolate hazelnut cake; the cake was a bit too fudgy for my taste, and the tiramisu could have used more moisture and flavor. My birthday raspberry gelato, though, was a pleasant surprise, sweet and subtle rather than tart. The birthday cocktails were a lovely special touch on my first visit. On that first visit, I’d also ordered the steak, which was oversalted. Overall: if you’re looking for strictly authentic Italian, you may want to look elsewhere. But for a beautiful, upscale ambiance perfect for photos and special occasions, Adalina delivers. They also have a private side room that comfortably fits up to 20 guests, a lovely, intimate option for private events.”
“Three of us went for Happy Hour during the World Cup so it was a very different vibe than typical I should think (there are TVs in the bar area). We still had great service from the warm greeting at the host stand, to our attentive server and friendly food, water and drink runners. The HH specials are very good for both the food and drink. There’s a nice multiple choice drink bite main option as well. Shrimp and oysters were very fresh (with excellent horseradish) and the gnocchi fritti were great. Fries that came with caprese slider could’ve been crisper but I’m sure that was a stylistic choice on their part. We were very happy with everything and will definitely make a point to return. Peaking into the main dining area, it looked art deco glam yet comfortable— definitely a special occasion kind of place that you would want to dress for. Though in sure you’d be made to feel welcome however you came in. The individual WC’s were brightly lit, had their own sinks, good quality TP, no cosmetic or hygiene products and super cool holographic-type wallpaper that made me want to redecorate at home! It’s beautiful inside - only complaint is the two person tables are extremely small and it’s hard to fit all of your food and plates etc on the table comfortably. Food was so good and I’m obsessed with their strawberry soft serve now! :) they have valet also”
“Still dreaming about dinner at Adalina😭😭 From the moment we sat down, the experience was exceptional. We started with several delicious cocktails - the espresso martinis were absolutely on point and probably the best we’ve had in Chi…. and the shrimp cocktail was the perfect way to kick off the meal with protein 😍 Sarah ordered the mushroom pasta and described it best: simply delightful. I went with the lamb bolognese, and it was hands down one of the most incredible pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor and a surprisingly wonderful level of spice. And of course, no meal here is complete without ending with a limoncello…..it was the perfect finishing touch. 😍😍😍😍 What truly elevated the evening was the hospitality. Nick took amazing care of us all night, and the entire management team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. Our server, Filip, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire dining experience feel special. His recommendations were excellent, and he made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell the kitchen takes great pride in every plate. “My wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day. The ambience is a bit dark but the vibes are great. We ordered the bread service, truffle caesar, malfadine bolognese, crab agnolotti, 32 oz Tomahawk steak, and the house cheesecake. Everything was very good and our server was very friendly. This place also has a large list of spirits although we did not partake.”
