I searched far and wide for fresh soy milk (unsweetened and sweetened) and tofu & this shop has that + pandan soy milk, tofu pudding, lemongrass fried tofu, & more. If you’re in argyle definitely worth checking out. Apple Pay & card accepted, though it’s good to pay in cash if you can. Great prices (2.75 cash for some lemon grass fried tofu)

No frills spot that has various grab n go foods. Their fried tofu with shrimp and egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Everything is really affordable - can't wait to try more of their foods!

“This place has such good food.”

This place has such good food! The tofu, soy milk, egg rolls, and fried dough are all delicious. The fresh, warm, sausage buns are probably the best buns I've had in my entire life. They are so moist and delicious that I can't get enough. Also everything here is so cheap! I love this place. Parking can be tough on weekends though. 👍

Nice spot for Vietnamese desserts, banh, fresh tofu, and tons of other goodies, even soy milk. Inside is standing room only but prices are amazing, grab a bag of stuff and take it home. Before the pandemic you could pick your own fried goods from the heated section but now you can just point and ask. Try the fresh tofu with ginger syrup if they have it.

I absolutely love VN Tofu and Street Foods on Argyle in Chicago! This hidden gem offers an authentic Vietnamese street food experience that's hard to find anywhere else. The best part is the daily fresh tofu, which is a vegan's dream come true. They serve up some of the most delicious tofu dishes, and you can really taste the quality and freshness. One thing to note about VN Tofu and Street Foods on Argyle is that they are a cash-only establishment. So, be sure to have some cash on hand when you visit. But trust me, the delicious and authentic Vietnamese street food and fresh tofu dishes are well worth it!

“Truly a hidden gem.”

Truly a hidden gem! I never would have found this place if it wasn’t for google maps :). They had so much good stuff in here. I got the banh bao (still warm), banh gio (freshly steamed), banh tieu, some eggrolls & some flan! I loved that the banh bao was full of hard boiled egg & sausage & they didn’t skimp on those fillings. The banh gio was still super warm when I got home and hour later. And OMG the flan was the bomb!!! It was so silky & smooth. I think it’s cash only but totally worth it & the cashier was super nice. I didn’t try any of the tofu & soy products this time but they looked good. Everything was fresh. Will definitely be back to get my viet snacks & sweets fix. Come early to get more of a selection.
