This takeout was incredible. I had the bulgogi bento box and a 1/2 order of wings. Everything hit. They’ll be seeing me again. 🙌🏾 Update: tried the lemongrass chicken and it was good. I would probably stick to the marinated beef box moving forward.

I was looking for a new food place to try after a day in wicker park and I am so happy I chose Bon Bon!! The tofu spring rolls are hands down the best I’ve ever had. The Thai curry seitan Bahn mi was absolutely delicious, too. Veggy wings were good, a little on the spicy side for me, but the flavor & texture were both on point. Have already recommended this place to friends and will 100% be back soon!

I stopped in on my way to catch the blue line to the airport for a quick bite. It was my first time and I couldn’t be more impressed with the diverse menu, the quality, flavors, atmosphere and quick service! I ordered the yellow curry tempeh bahn mi, along with kimchi fries. I usually don’t order fries but I couldn’t resist the unique combo! Everything was YUMMY. The sandwich’s neat presentation superb and the lightness of the bread offset the rich flavors of the curry beautifully. It was light yet filling. My friend had pho, which I tasted and enjoyed the flavor as well. The portion was generous, so on top of being delicious a terrific value! The server and co-owner was bubbly and pleasant and helped us feel right at home! Don’t miss this gem if you’re in Chicago for the first time or a native!

Delightful Neighborhood Restaurant with Fabulous Food and Inviting Ambience This is such a delightful little restaurant! The food is extraordinary, and they have a larger menu than one would expect in a neighborhood cafe. The ambience is inviting, with lots of artworks on the walls and if you love books, you can sit in a table framed by a bookshelf full of interesting, artistic and philosophical offerings. The owners are lovely, the tables have good space between them, and the service is fast. This feels like it would become my neighborhood hangout it I lived in Chicago. I hope to be back there soon.

Kept passing by and seeing onigiri (Japanese rice balls) on the window and finally decided to come in. They got vegan options! I messed up picking up my order an hr after i ordered. I'll come back and order again. The Korean style vegan chicken is BOMB 💣. The sweet potatoes i needed to reheat or eat fresh, but I still liked them. They were soggy by the time I got them and can't hold that against them. The onigiri was fye 🔥 Wrapped it with seaweed and ate it up! The pickled plum has a strong kick but I dig it. Omg the best part was Caprice (The cashier)! She was so sweet and is a fellow Anime fan and was in there playing Future Funk music. Auto 5/5 for vibes and service. Give that woman a raise! I'll be back to dine-in 🍽

Love the spring rolls here. The chicken is good, fried egg rolls and boba tea are fantastic as well as the fries. Prices are reasonable, food is great. Take it from someone who was born in HoChiMin city, (Dad was a Marine) food is authentic Vietnamese.

Totally loved the taste, the place, the price-satisfaction outcome but I think they might be able to add some more vegan options to their menu. They have a couple but it feels like they van do way better. Even though it's a pretty nice culinary experience

“I’m from Chicago just now live in PA.”

I’m from Chicago just now live in PA. The last time I visited my step sister took me here and it was amazingly good! I usually go to places where I can get a beer with my meal but this was delicious without and we just got a beer at another spot afterwards! The food was phenomenal and didn’t take long to get. The atmosphere was awesome and you can see right out the front of the building to traffic and the awesome city life! If you have checked it out do so next time you’re downtown! Just check out my photo of the food and it’ll make you hungry!!
