You're not coming here to have a nice sit down dinner. You're ordering and picking up some delicious, fresh pho and FIRE eggrolls. I'm mad I only got two. Owner is so sweet and funny. My shrimp and chicken pho was fantastic. She used a beef broth, but that waa fine w me. I watched her cook the meat and shrimp fresh and packaged it well so I could enjoy it at home. Cash or Zelle only so have it ready!

Cold December day was the perfect time to try this out. Looked up the best Vietnamese on the Southside and this came up. Other reviewers were spot on; this place is a hidden gem if there ever was one. Food was excellent. Cooked to order. I got the combination soup and spring rolls. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The owner was nice. Cash or zelle only for payment. Can't wait to stop back again soon.

“This place is an absolute gem.”

This place is an absolute gem! The restaurant is run by the sweetest woman, and you can feel the care and love she puts into every dish. I haven’t had Vietnamese food this good since leaving California, and I’ve been craving it for a long time. The pho is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the banh mi is fresh, savory, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted authentic and made with heart. Truly a standout spot, I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

“An incredible hidden gem.”

An incredible hidden gem! As someone familiar with Viet cuisine, I can say this place is the real deal¡ It’s a humble, hole-in-the-wall spot. The owner’s use of fresh, local ingredients really shine. The pho broth was rich and flavorful, and the banh mi had freshly cooked pork and homemade pâté. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch. (Cash or Zelle only!)

Some of the best food I’ve had in Chicago. I almost cried when I tried the pork banh mi. The pho is very very good too. I will definitely be coming back. Portion sizes are very generous.

Owner is very hospitable and positive. Very welcoming. Really enjoyed the pho with extra meat and noodles, price is pretty cheap compared to the other pho joints in Argyle and Chinatown. Will come again without a doubt

this is the best pho in chicago, the broth, the meat and the spices, the noodle are perfect, at least this is for me, but beware she put a lot of green onion and cilantro on the soup, but since i like it like that I'm not complaining, but if you don't like green onion and cilantro that much, you can ask the owner to put it on moderate ammount the owner really friendly she doing everything by herself just so you know if you eat right there, there is a extra 1 dollar, since the original prices supposedly for to go price, overall I'm satisfied, will definitely going back everything cook by order so everything is fresh

Definitely call in advance!!! Hours vary!!! Cash only for the most part but she does accept zelle. We ordered the pho combination, the shrimp and pork spring rolls as well as the salt and pepper shrimp rice box. The pho is a huge bowl definitely great value and portion for the price of $13! The broth is on the sweeter side so if you like your pho broth savory this ain't it. Overall, it is delicious and recommend if you like a sweeter pho. The shrimp and pork spring rolls are excellent! Definitely recommend. They come with cucumber, shrimp, pork, rice noodles and a peanut spicy sweet sauce which is so good! The salt and pepper shrimp rice box is delicious, not overly salty, seasoned perfectly!!! And the rice box came with a fried egg to top it off! Perfection!! Highly recommend. This place is run by one woman who takes all the orders and cooks. The food is guaranteed to be fresh bc she cooks one order at time. There will be a wait but it is totally worth it!!! She brings the food right out to you immediately after cooking it. It's like having a Vietnamese mom cook for you!!! Food is fresh, great portion sizes and absolutely tasty!! Great prices too! In terms of decor the inside is rundown but there is seating. The only thing I recommend is that the tables get a wipe down because the table we ate at was somewhat oily. Metered parking up front.

The service was excellent as soon as my daughter and I walked in. The both of us ordered the beef PHO and it was so authentic and fresh. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!! The broth was so flavourful and our portions was just right.
