“I had pork, she had shrimp, and burger tacos. They were fantastic. Everything was delicious. 5tars”

“Delicious tacos, quick and cheap. Exactly what you want after a long day of exploring the city.”

“Chuck was amazing! He was very helpful!! Great customer service!”

“I love this place. Every taco on the menu is unique and packed with flavor, offering something different from the ordinary tacos you find elsewhere. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and it's the kind of place that keeps you coming back to explore more of the menu. One of the best things about this spot is that it's open late, making it a perfect option after a night out. The staff are courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Since it was my first visit, they took the time to guide me through the menu and helped me place my order, which I really appreciated. The prices are not the cheapest, but they are reasonable for the quality of the food and overall experience. Between the great tacos, welcoming service, and convenient late night hours, this is a place I would highly recommend.”

“Food was amazing; definitely going back for more. Brisket nachos had a ton of brisket, the queso was flavorful and the pico was fresh. The buffalo chicken taco was perfect still crunchy but totally covered. The buffalo sauce was perfect felt like I was back in Buffalo and using blue cheese instead of ranch was the what took it over the top.”

“Yo the service here is no joke . Great energy. Food is mad to order (so be patient!).”

“Great food. Good portion sizes, friendly staff and quick turn around.”

“Super fun time on Rush and State! Perfect spot to grab a meal or a light snack. Great prices, flavor and people!”

“I’d been to Velvet Taco in Atlanta a few years ago, but for some reason it didn’t really hit the spot for me. So when I came across this location during my trip to Chicago, I decided to give it another chance. It’s in a great location near the Magnificent Mile, making it an easy stop while exploring the area. I ordered the Fried Paneer taco and the Beer-Battered Cauliflower taco, and both were really good. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors worked really well together. I also had to save room for the red velvet cake because I’d skipped it on my last visit. The slice was absolutely massive, I later found out it was over 1,000 calories! There was no way I could finish it, so I took most of it to go. It was incredibly rich, moist, and delicious, and definitely worth trying if you have a sweet tooth (or someone to share it with!). This visit completely changed my opinion of Velvet Taco, and I’m glad I decided to give it another shot.”
