“This place is very authentic but still offers some fun American twists! Maybe we just came on the right night, but all the workers had red hair and a thick Irish accent...how did they make that happen??”

“This is a gem. Food is legit. They can be gluten friendly too— big plus. Thr vibes are for an Irish pub are 💯. Big garage doors that open for nice weather days is a great feature too. They even have a rotating frozen drink. Live music each week. Like I said, this is a gem. Go- you’ll love it too. 10/10 recommend”

“The Wolfhound Bar & Kitchen is truly one of Chicago’s hidden gems. Every time I’ve come here, the food and drinks have been spot-on — fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The atmosphere is perfect for both friends and family — warm, lively, and welcoming, with great music, friendly staff, and a vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. Whether you’re coming for dinner, trivia night, or just to unwind with a drink, this place never disappoints. I’ve been here quite a few times, and each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!”

“I really enjoyed this Pub. I had excellent food. The chicken sandwiches were huge. The homemade chicken noodle soup was amazing with the brussel sprouts on the side and the service was delivered with a smile and kindness. I'll be back.”

“There are many reasons to come here: They offer two versions of an Irish breakfast (full and half), which are solid. There are Irish beers (as well as excellent Chicago brews) on tap and Irish sports on the telly. And their homemade scones are outstanding, maybe the best authentic British scones in the city (and it sure doesn’t hurt that they come three to an order).”

“Came here on a Tuesday night for the band playing traditional Irish music. Loved the music, the atmosphere of the bar and the food was excellent. Highly recommend.”

“Super cute place. Everyone was so friendly there, and they thanked my friend and I for coming to check them out for restaurant week. Everything we ate was soo delicious. I definitely want to come back to try the sandwiches as well. The sausage rolls were perfect, and so were the scones. The veggie quiche had a lovely crispy crust. The chicken and waffles with the togarashi maple honey was by far the best I have ever eaten with the perfect amount of spice that was definitely a pleasant surprise. Do not even get me started on the Banana Foster French toast. Let's just I wanted to go home for a nap since I ate it all. The trinity cupcake to finish it off. My only regret was not making my coffee an Irish one. I will be returning soon.”

“Awesome scones and services!!! The staff here is amazing and we got them to go!!”

“Amazing service by the staff. Atmosphere is quaint. Food is good but I feel like there’s something missing that I just can’t place my finger on. Bread from the full breakfast is amazing! I think the owners mother bakes them. So delicious! I would go back for drinks and a quick bite.”
“This place is amazing. The owner is very nice, the food is great, the atmosphere is fun. My ONLY problem is for some reason they removed the cheese curds from the menu when I’ve had multiple people (my wife included) tell me they were some of the best curds they’ve ever had. PLEASE ADD THE CHEESE CURDS BACK TO THE MENU!”
