“Krung Thep is my favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. They have an extensive menu of authentic northern Thai food as well as popular dishee like pad thai and pad see eiw. The staff are friendly and the location is great in Boystown. I recently had the Tiger Cry on their seasonal special menu, it was so good! Highly recommend”

“I tried their Wing Zaap at Thai Fest this year and loved it so much that we ended up ordering it for Father’s Day family gathering. It really reminded me of KFC Wing Zaap in Thailand. Crispy, flavorful, and super nostalgic. Highly recommend if you’re craving Thai-style fried chicken with that bold, savory seasoning. 🤌”

“One of the best Thai restaurants in Chicago! The food is incredibly authentic, full of flavor, and consistently delicious. Every dish tastes fresh and well prepared”

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was authentic, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were also very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food”

“By far THE BEST Thai place I've been to (and I've been to a lot of them). It is a small place but the quality of food and service is amazing. We ordered 3 dishes: Grilled Squid, Signature Pad Thai, and Tom Yum soup with seafood. The squid was perfectly grilled with a slight charred taste and the spicy dipping sauce made it even better. The signature pad thai is also amazing - the noodles and shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was the right amount of oily and flavorful that you cannot stop eating. Do note that the Signature Pad Thai is made with glass noodles. If you're looking for the more classic noodles, pick the Pad Thai instead. (I have no doubt that the taste would be just as amazing). Finally, the star was definitely the Tom Yum soup - very flavorful and aromatic with the right amount of spice with the chilis and richness from the coconut milk. There was plenty of seafood in the soup (shrimp, scallops, squid, mussels) along with some herbs, onions, and mushroom. I had 2 servings of white rice with it and would have had more if I weren't already full to the brim. The Thai iced tea is the cherry on top, but it might be a little bit too sweet for some. I think we did order a bit too much food for 2 people, but we finished all of our food with just some soup leftover, which goes to prove how good is was. Overall, I would wholehearted tell everyone to give Krung Thep a go if you're a fan of authentic Thai food.”
