Strings Ramen just opened their new Lincoln Park location, at 1353 W Fullerton Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614 Their new location is larger, with space for about 60 people, a parking lot and they will have full bar service later this summer. We enjoyed Edamame, Chicken Karaage, Truffle Fries,and Pork Gyoza. The mocktails that we had, both Raspberry Rose Refresher and Stringria Summer Passion Fruit are both delicious and refreshing! Their Kim-Chi Ramen and Kaisen Don dishes are amazing! “Have tried a few Ramen spots across the US and Strings Ramen has to be the best not just in Chicago but I dare say will make the top 10 list in the US . This new location is even more spacious with improved interiors and the service , as always, is fabulous. I tried their recommended beef ramen with curry broth and was outstanding. The taste was spot on and the quantity is in-fact sufficient for even two people. There is also an option to choose spice levels. Most folks should be okay picking anywhere between 1-3 ( higher the spicier). 4&5 are very very spicy and I wouldn’t recommend unless you are a true spice/ heat lover. If you are a Ramen fan, highly recommend adding this place to your list.”

“Edit: I love the food but I am BEGGING please give better service! I couldn’t even get anyone’s attention to get more water and the water cups are tiny and you guys aren’t even filling them up all the way. Please give a little more attention to your in store customers, I know you are busy with online orders. I always get the kinoko shoyu ramen. It’s absolutely delicious, so savory and filling. My favorite ramen I’ve ever had.”
“Went here a couple of days ago and it was amazing. Barely had the first bite and told my partner we had to come back. They have a great selection, their premium ramen bowls even include filet mignon as an option. I had the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly which soaked up the broth perfectly. The music is also great here and adds to the vibe.”

“Not the best ramen I’ve had but decent. They have a good lunch special so I guess that works out. I’m not too enthusiastic about this place. I arrived at 11:01 when they opened (I had nothing to do after my doctors appointment so I waited for this place to open to try it out) it took about 10 minutes for someone to come from the back and seat me. It was the cleaning guy who sat me. Not the waiter. I was then given menus 5 minutes after being sat. Maybe they need a bell in the front to have someone let them know they’re there? The ramen was good I like the cut of pork belly but maybe cut it into smaller pieces for the customer? It was just a huge chunk of meat. Hard to eat with chopsticks.”
