“One of my favorite places to eat in Chicago! Food is amazing and service is great. They also have tables outside and sunset is beautiful over there! Nice atmosphere to seat by yourself or with friends/family :)”

“Went in for dinner this evening and the food and experience were wonderful. We sat on that patio and it was quite busy. It was very relaxing to sit out there and enjoy a nice meal. We had the arancini and it was delicious with a very nice cheese pull. The pistachio pizza was really unique. Great recommendation from our server. Overall we enjoyed everything we ordered. A nice Sunday night out with great food.”

“Spacca Napoli sits on a quiet, tree-lined side street in Ravenswood, tucked away enough that you actually have to know it's there to find it. The owner trained as a pizzaiolo in Naples and it shows the second you walk in, there's a big tiled, wood-burning oven right out in the open that does most of the talking for the place before any food even arrives. The room is warm, the walls are a cheerful yellow, and on a nice evening the patio out back is honestly one of the best spots in the neighborhood to sit and eat. We started with the calamari piccante, which had a nice kick to it without overwhelming the squid itself, and then moved into pizza, which is really the only sensible thing to do here. The Margherita came out thin, a little charred at the edges, chewy in the middle in that way that tells you the dough actually had time to do its thing. We also got the Bufalina, loaded with real buffalo mozzarella and a little garlic, and it disappeared fast. What stuck with me though was the Pistacchio pizza, this rich pistachio cream base with sausage and basil on top, sounds like a strange combination on paper but it works in a way I wasn't expecting. They bring a side of chili oil with everything too, which cuts through the richness nicely. Pies also come out uncut, so you slice them yourself, which keeps the crust from getting soggy sitting under a pile of toppings. No reservations on weekends, and the wait can run long, but the patio makes the waiting part feel less like a chore.”

“This place is an absolute banger and easily ranks among the top pizza spots in Chicago. From the food to the dine-in experience, every detail feels thoughtfully handled, and the overall vibe is relaxed, welcoming, and full of character. The Neapolitan-style pizza is outstanding, with a light, airy, and fluffy crust that stands out in every bite. It is a laid-back neighborhood gem that truly delivers on quality. The service is super friendly, and the outdoor seating makes it especially enjoyable during warmer days. For any Neapolitan pizza fan, this is a must-visit spot that consistently impresses.”

“My wife and I had a spectacular dinner at Spacca Napoli. We have had many friends who have been here and we, after many years of hearing it's accolades, finally made it to this delicious pizzeria. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, immediately smelling like yeast and the ol' country upon entry. The staff and out server were very friendly and th right kind of casual. And most importantly, the food was marvelous, especially the Pistachio Pesto pizza. We finished off the night with some cannolis. Can't recommend enough, this spot may become a regular haunt.”

“Our waiter was amazing we asked for his opinion when we narrowed our options down to 2 appetizers and same with pizza. His choices were soooo good. We will be back to try many other items.”

“A delightful surprise, I have found the superb pizza in Chicago! Can’t wait to go back there tonight ❤️”

“Banger! Easily top 3 pizza you can have in Chicago! From the food to the dine in, all details taken care of with a great vibe! Must try the Cola & Mole with any Pizza!”

“The pizza special I had (pork shoulder slices with small chunks of potato) was delicious, especially with the multigrain crust. My partner enjoyed his fungi pizza. We shared the tartufu dessert. We loved all of it. We don't get here a lot because of the reservation system they have (which is understandable). So it always feels like a special occasion when we do.”

“Spacca Napoli lives up to its reputation as one of Chicago’s best Neapolitan pizza spots. The pizzas are beautifully balanced—soft, airy crust with just the right amount of char, high-quality ingredients, and classic flavors done right. The Margherita is a standout, with bright tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fragrant basil, while the Diavola has a great kick without overpowering the dough. Beyond pizza, the menu feels thoughtfully curated, and the atmosphere is warm and unpretentious—lively but still comfortable for a relaxed meal. Service is friendly and efficient, even when the place is busy. It’s the kind of spot you’d happily return to again and again, whether you’re a pizza purist or just craving something genuinely well made.”
