First time customer-and it was an amazing, and delicious experience. Great customer service; friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Everyone around me was thoroughly enjoying FOOD! I loved the variety of crafted sauces at the sauce bar. Looking forward to checking out the outside patio when it gets warmer.

Restaurant from the patrons to the staff you felt welcome , service was warm uptempo busy but you felt the appreciation of your business. Highlight is The Food ! My Texas Trinity was smoked to perfection, our greens on point, sweet potato cornbread alone will have you back . Come for the Food your enjoy

Although the sides (greens and mac and cheese) were edible, the greens were sour tasting and the flavor was off making it unrecognizable and the mac and cheese pasta portion was over cooked so it was just mushy but at least I recognized the dishs’ flavor as trying to resemble mac. Next, the customer service top tier. The atmosphere with music was matching the energy of the food being served so I danced a little while eating. I ordered the small pork rib tips which comes with a side. They were beautiful and the taste was authentic. They were juicy and tender and crisp and smoky and flavorful! Every thing a person wants and expects to taste when they order rib tips. They came with bbq sauce lightly tossed all over the tips but not drenched and not overwhelming. I appreciated that. I also ordered the 1/2 lb brisket. It was melt in your mouth tender but not dripping juicy the way i really like it. So I’m not complaining. It was a thick long piece of meat (that’s what she said 😏) that came with 2 slices of thick white sandwich bread, sweet pickles, and pickled onions I believe. I didn’t eat those. My son had brisket and a side which does not come with the 1/2 lb brisket. He loved it so much. But it didn’t fill him up so he ordered a small rib tip to go and some type of sausage to go. I ended up ordering the catfish dinner to go with fries as my side choice. It comes with bread, a roasted grilled half lemon and 3 huge pieces of fried catfish. I taste tested 2 small pieces of the catfish before storing away in fridge when I got home and I was super shocked…THE FLAVOR IS SO SMOKY AND ROASTED AND FRESH AND OHHHHH MY GODDDD. I’m so obsessed. I cannot wait to visit again!!! See you next year!!!!!! 2026 🎆 🎇 🎉

I came in today around 11:45 am and it was crowded. But the line went fast and they were very efficient !!! My mom will be 80 years old in January....With family roots from Crystal Springs, Mississippi and she said these were the best pork ribs she's ever had! I agree! We each got a half a slab! They were sooooo good I forgot to take a picture of them! Mannnnnnn soooo sooo tender! Amazing Sanders! We loved it. We also got Mac and Cheese, and Collard Greens which were delicious! Mac and cheese and collards for $6 for a small side and $10 for a large. Very reasonably priced! The large is massive and can feed 3-4 people. Now the sweet potato cornbread looked amazing visually but fell flat for my mom and I. You have the sugar and the cinnamon, and the butter covering the top of the cornbread and then the sweet potato is kind of layered in the cornbread mix. I think it would taste better if you took some of that topping and put it actually in the cornbread not just on top. Also try roasting the sweet potatoes to kinda give it more flavor. Well at least for my taste lolllllll! However, my son LOVED it! Customer service was amazing, washrooms were clean and for you guys to be busy, the food came out pretty fast!!! You guys deserve five stars!!!! I can't wait to try the other things on the menu. Great job Sanders BBQ! Ya'll better workkkk! ***** Sorry I didn't get a picture of my own ribs, they were so good I smashed them before I could! But as they were making someone's plate, I took a picture of a sampler of some sort because it had sausage and ribs on the plate too! *****Oh and they are cashless!

A must try, but go early because the food will run out. That's how good it is. There was no chicken products when we got there. They do announce it. The line was near the door, not too bad for a rainy day. The line moved pretty fast, about 15 minutes or less from the door entryway. I purchased the Texas Trio which is: beef brisket, 4-5 rib bones with meat of course, sausage, and bread. I don't know why I didn't get the pickles and the pickled onions. I love that. They show that in the picture. Maybe you have to ask for it. Also I think you have to ask for a site of sauce because I didn't have any in the bag. I took mine to go. My husband got the whole slab, baked beans, and fries. I got the corn elote, and the sweet potato cornbread, deliciousness! The meat was tender. The taste was delicious. I love the brisket. The very best. The sausage was a little spicy but delicious. The corn, great tasting, and the sweet potato cornbread oh my God it's delicious and goes really good with your food. If you want to eat there, there's an inside and the outside area. I forgot yesterday was Sweetest Day so that's probably why they ran out of food yesterday. Also, they probably ran out because it's so delicious. You definitely have to try it. Be prepared to pay a little bit more than you would at your local barbecue joint.

Food was amazing Update 10/18 Another great trip, finally tried the cat fish and it was amazing. Breading gave it a crisp but did not take away from the fish’s flavor. Their tartar sauce was perfect combo of creamy and tangy. Peach sweet tea wings and brisket burger and a staple. Can’t come without getting both of those. Only two things left to try, the turkey leg and Jack Fruit so we gotta go back.

“As you can see, I took on a lot of food!!”

As you can see, I took on a lot of food!!! The ribs — amazing! The sauce wasn’t poured on top; it was coated on the ribs, and you gotta get them. Next, the brisket — I’m a fan of fatty brisket, and yes, the flavor is there. It’s not really my type, but the flavor still hits. The mac and cheese? THICK and packed with flavor, especially if you can get the crust/top — OMG! Now the oxtails… huge portions! You get two types: fatty and meaty. I even got a smaller one too. Not everyone likes the fat, but I do! Eat them alone or save them for last, because you will get sleepy after the oxtails — trust me. The cornbread (not pictured) is very sweet — I just got it by itself, no greens. Yes, Sanders is a must try! But don’t do it alone — you’ll need help, this is a lot of food! I’ll definitely be back for greens, sweet potato, and cornbread — then mix those oxtails right in with it. The wings were good too — and the fries? Dip them in that BBQ sauce for a perfect kick!

The wait was long but the line did move quickly. They have a app and no wait on order pick up. I got a platter for 135 because I wanted to sample the bulk of the menu. Everything was very good. My fave were Mac&cheese and ribs were super tender. Brisket was ok. It looked better than the taste.still good though. Greens were ok as well but not one of my favs. Overall very good I did still enjoy my meal very much.oh the sweet potato cornbread was basically cake on top and cornbread below. Very good 👍🏿

I'm a New Englander and spent my birthday visiting my son in Chicago. He and his fiance told me they had to take me to the best BBQ place in Chicago. We had ribs, catfish and the peach tea wings with collards, mac n cheese and sweet potato cornbread! OMG! They were right. That was the best BBQ ribs and (fried perfectly) catfish I've ever had in a restaurant. And the sweet potato cornbread was off the hizzy! The wings were tasty and enjoyably tender, so were the ribs. I was very pleased. I told friends and family that if they're ever in the Chicago area to be sure to check out Sanders. The only downfall is you may have to endure a long line, but trust me, it'll be worth it. Happy eating

I went almost as soon as they were open on a Sunday and there was a line, LOL... The atmosphere is busy and the customer service is very good... This was my first time and my cousin got some things that I didn't have so I had the opportunity to taste a little bit of everything.. The only thing that I wasn't a real fan of was the brisket.. It was juicy on the outside but the actual meat part was a little dry, but flavorful... The fried catfish, oxtails, peach wings links, spare ribs, greens and mac and cheese wakes was delicious. I grabbed some street corn and cookies to go but I don't know how that tastes yet, LOL

I went on a Sunday about an hour after they opened, seating wasn't a problem. My friend and I enjoyed our rib tips, INCREDIBLY tender and tasty!! The greens and mac & cheese was very good too! My only issue, I didn't know there was bread underneath the tips until several hours later. I didn't realize there was a 2nd slice of bread until some time after that! The bread should perhaps be on top of the tips to deter sogginess. Better yet, on top of wax paper on top of the tips (example pic is from different restaurant I visited the next day). The owner stopped by and said hello and we complimented the food, had I known there was bread I would've mentioned something then. There was no indication of bread or included side on the signage. Will definitely be back😊
