Great historical establishment. They have A+ soul food and Kool-Aid. Yes I said Kool-Aid. The choice of 6+ meats(BBQ tips and turkey legs, meat loaf, fried chicken, baked and smothered chicken, and jerk chicken) 15+sides (beets, cole slaw, potato salad, two types of green salads, yams, dressing, baked beans, spinach, turnip/mustard, cabbage, collard greens, green beans, tomatoes, onions, peppers and I am forgetting something. Desserts-peach cobbler, banana pudding, apple cobbler...I have to stop I'm getting full just naming the food items. Historical people have performed and dined in the walls of this gem. MUST VISIT

This was my first time here as I was in town for the weekend. I had the Pearl's Omelet, and I must say it was great. It's definitely worth coming to. The waitress, I believe her name is Kadijah, was so friendly and welcoming. If you're in town, make sure you stop here.

The food is always good, I had some out-of-town guests and this food did not disappoint them either. We were a party of 8 with 2 kids. Service is always great. Next, I have to try the buffet. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals I just didn't get all the photos cause they were eating it up 😆

Catered sides for a gender reveal. Mac n cheese, spaghetti, turnip & mustard greens, salad, sweet potatoes and angel eggs(my favorite 🤩) Food was hot and fresh. Great proportions for attendees. “I can’t comment greatly on the food.”

I can’t comment greatly on the food. I only stopped to get cake. The atmosphere was delightful and so it was a pleasure to be able to walk in and see such a historical site. The best part for me was their hospitality with getting me the items desired. I think I will return and try out some more of the dishes at an early hour. Parking is a bit weird so if you have a large vehicle, worry about that. I would even call up there for heading there unless you know what time they are busy. Hoping you might success in all your business for continued years.
