I planned on eating half of my meal and saving the rest for later. After one bite, I couldn't stop. The cabbage and sweet potatoes were cooked full of flavor. The oxtail and rice didn't need any extra seasoning. Everything was perfect. The staff were welcoming who served us in a comfortable atmosphere. You were the perfect final stop for my trip to Chicago.

Food is delicious. I got the catfish fillet plate— they’re well seasoned, not dry, and the whole meal is screaming hot. This is some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. Collards and macaroni are very good too.

First impressions are everything when coming to a new restaurant. The staff immediately welcomed us into the establishment with friendly hospitality. The service here is phenomenal. The food came out quick but was fresh and hot. I enjoyed my meal special shoutout to their cornbread dressing it’s very good. I got the Jerk Lamb they won’t disappoint you!

Catfish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, super tender and flavorful. Portion sizes were substantial but not so much you can’t finish your plate if you’re really going in which I appreciate. Cornbread has perfect amount of moisture. The people were extremely friendly and gave us a really great welcome and explanation of the menu. We’ll definitely be back

A slight wait but I don't mind a wait to get fresh food ,the food however came out and while it was delicious it was pretty warm.😭 Lamb chops and catfish were seasoned to perfection...sweet potatoes were perfect just the right amount of nutmeg/cinnamon and the cabbage was cooked perfectly not too mushy and a slight kick ,corn muffin wasn't my fave but it also wasn't bad . The peach tea was a great refresher and free refills ...overall I would definitely go back ,if you're thinking about trying them out go for it ,the staff were super friendly and that means a LOT these days .

Food 10/10 we all loved our food! So good 🙌🏾 Service 10/10 from the cashier to the server... top tier, very nice, and engaging Atmosphere 8/10 nice dine-in spot, good size, but the bathroom needs work. A big water spot in the middle of the floor. They do charge a 3% dine-in fee. I'm over the fees that the restaurants are charging now since COVID. It's ridiculous but I guess.
