“Arancini classico was fantastic: crisp, golden exterior with a soft, creamy risotto center that was rich without being too heavy. The marinara sauce on the side was especially good: fragrant, garlicky, and bright enough to cut through the richness of the rice. The Chicago Muffuletta sandwich was also great. Savory mortadella, hot capicola, salami, spicy and briny olive giardiniera, and melty provolone were stacked together between their nicely toasted house focaccia. The whole sandwich was topped with a sprinkle of dried herbs. A simple yet incredibly satisfying sandwich. The place itself is quite small with just about 7 seats inside. Truly a tiny spot turning out genuinely impressive food.”
