I’m assuming the owner came out (whom i’m never seen before) and screamed at me due to me parking in his little “spot,” which is perfectly understandable but I wasn’t looking at his sign when I first parked my car nor do I really ever pay attention to it when I come.
It says you open till 6 pm. Yet u were closed at 5 pm today on thursday feb 16th. Wasted my time.
Very poor service!. The man is absolutely rude .

I was surprised at the selections on the menu and hesitant to try as the options were not quite what I expected to be Polish food. But once I took a bite of each of the two items i ordered I loved it all. Very tasty and filling with rich and quality ingredients.

A small but very good restaurant. Every time my parents visit, we come here. Their "zapiekanki" are to die for! Highly recommend!!!

A small, cozy Polish restaurant. They serve delicious Polish food, almost like at home. A nice, warm lady who serves customers and offers advice and help like a mother. I really recommend these restaurants even though they are hard to see from the street.

Super friendly and clean the food was great and even if you don't speak polish there are photos everywhere to help you order... I'd recommend the kebab if you're very hungry or if you're looking for something a bit lighter than the Zapiekanka is the way to go... And please don't forget to tip!

Very tasty polish style street food. Keep in mind that's not the full menu that's pictured. There's also soups, pierogi's etc. Been going there for years. Now accepting cards too, so no more cash only. Highly recommended!

What a great find for fast Polish food in Portage Park! I am a big fan of zapiekankas and find the ones created here to be one of the best that I’ve ever had. Try one if you’ve never had the pleasure as you won’t regret anything coming out of this kitchen.

“Lovely Polish eatery.”
Lovely Polish eatery. I was stoked they had Zapiekanka and Zurek. I will have to go back and try their Peirogis. Very small, but great atmosphere (almost all Poles) and fast and friendly staff.

I needed something since I was hungry and it was close by where I live. I got the polish sausage and French fries. Man the polish sausage so good and the fries as well. I thought the food was going to be moderate but I was wrong. I recommend this if need something to eat and it’s very polish lol
