Spoko — high-caliber polish in Lincoln Park. Order the pierogis. The kind of spot that earns loyalty, not hype. "The potato pancakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the zapiekanki—a must-try" — Eva Kielar

We came from the burbs to the polish american museum and looked for a polish place to eat. Rikki our server made the entire experience. Food was delish and it is definite a new stop when we come to the city.

Great spot for brunch, they had fun classic options with a Polish twist, like pierogi eggs Benedict, a breakfast sandwich with polish sausage, and potato pancakes with eggs. All of the food was good and the service was nice as well. It got a bit busy for brunch on a Saturday but we beat the later crowd by getting there around 2pm and were seated with no wait.

“The spicy polish sausage is legendary.”
The spicy polish sausage is legendary. Perfectly carmelized onions, grilled peppers, and a slightly sweet sauce on a fresh crispy baguette. The pierogis were great too but a bit expensive.

Got the brussels sprouts, polish platter and the zapki with beets. This was all so nice as it reminded me of my moms cooking. The patio was in a really nice area as well!

“What a great little gem.”
What a great little gem. Spoko s a laid back space with great service and amazing food. I tried to polish platter to get a taste of everything. The house made sausage was outstanding and very well flavored. The potato pancake with fried to perfection and still very soft in the center. I also have the best salad with was prepared delightfully and presented very well. I would definitely recommend a visit for a laid back corner bar/restaurant experience.

“A Hidden Polish Gem.”
A Hidden Polish Gem! Spoko is an absolute delight! This new spot brings the heart of Poland to Chicago with its flavorful, authentic dishes and warm, welcoming staff. The potato pancakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the zapiekanki—a must-try! And finally, a place that serves a good Polish beer! It paired perfectly with the meal and added to the whole experience. Compliments to the chef! Definitely will be coming back regularly!
