“The flavors were absolutely delicious and complex taking a spin on traditional ingredient combinations and elevating them”
You know how La Croix water tastes like water that was made near a fruit.
I literally just left this place. The food is absolutely delicious.
Yesterday we had the chance to visit Pierogi.

“I cant wait to come back to Pierogi Kitchen.”
I cant wait to come back to Pierogi Kitchen. The food was just as good as I hoped, and even better because the menu was more exciting than expected. The pierogis are delicious and a nice comfort food. The potato pancakes are crispy like they’re supposed to be. The pickled herring appetizer is amazing, I wish I could eat two of them. The large kielbasa platter is perfect, with tasty sauerkraut and sausage. Bright, comfortable environment. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

“Had an absolutely great meal here at pierogi kitchen.”
Had an absolutely great meal here at pierogi kitchen. Sauerkraut was full of flavor. Unfortunately the pierogis here are better than my family recipe so it kind of makes me sad lol. The atmosphere was very chill and also cozy. I can 100 percent recommend anyone to try this place out.

“I don’t know what could possibly get better.”
I don’t know what could possibly get better. Firstly shout out William, our server. Being a polish girl myself and the absolute love they pour into the menu and every ingredient to create both insane nostalgia and an advanced nature palette of dishes you love just touched my heart. Was easy for a walk in for 3, and accidentally half played trivia night while drinking fantastic cocktails. As a kid, I could never do the sweet cheese pierogis. Now, I’m dreaming of theirs. Thank you for such a magical night!

“We absolutely loved our visit to Perogi Kitchen.”
We absolutely loved our visit to Perogi Kitchen! We stopped in on a snowy Chicago day, and it instantly felt like the perfect place to warm up. The service was incredible - our server, William, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and right at home. Truly some of the best hospitality we’ve experienced in the city. Food-wise, everything was a hit. We ordered the kielbasa, cabbage roll, chipotle cheddar pierogi, and meat pierogi, and each dish was hearty, flavorful, and perfectly comforting. The martinis and old fashioneds were also excellent, truly the kind of cocktails you want on a winter day. My partner is Polish, and he was so impressed that we’re already planning to bring his Polish family here the next time they visit. Perogi Kitchen is cozy, delicious, and genuinely special. We’ll definitely be back!

“What a delight it was eating dinner here.”
What a delight it was eating dinner here. The waiter was patient and answered all of our questions without laughing.😅 His being cute didn't hurt matters any. We opted to sit outside, and it was pleasant without too much street noise if you sit on the side of the restaurant. I had the kielbasa platter. The kielbasa was tender with a nice snappy skin and seasoned just right. The mustard served with it was out of this world, as were the pan-fried potato and cheese pirogi. Topped that off with a zywiec with raspberry syrup which made the beer quite sweet. Total thirst quencher. C had the brisket gulasz (sp?) With potato pancakes and sour cream. The gulasz had a stew consistency which is exactly the way I like it. It was a little more sour than your typical German goulash, but think that fits perfectly with the Polish taste. S had the schabowy breaded pork loin with country potatoes and kraut slaw. The pork was so crispy outside while tender and most. She drank a sweet cider that was crisp and light. Highly recommend eating her for a fabulous meal!

Had a most excellent lunch at PK. This place has a really comfortable feel and a very good menu. They have all of the polish favorites including bigos, Pierogi, zurek and many other options. Will be back to try other dishes for sure. They also have zywiec on tap! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get their polish fix

“We were looking for Polish food and found this delightful spot for a late lunch on a warm July day.”
We were looking for Polish food and found this delightful spot for a late lunch on a warm July day. We ordered 2 plates of pierogis and a Zywiec beer. Total was $38, so not cheap imo. However, food was delicious, atmosphere was bright and fresh, and service was excellent.

“Pierogi Kitchen – Authentic Polish Food That Hits the Spot If you want authentic Polish comfort...”
Pierogi Kitchen – Authentic Polish Food That Hits the Spot If you want authentic Polish comfort food in a cool, casual setting, Pierogi Kitchen is a must. It’s super easy to get to—just hop off the Blue Line—and totally worth the visit. The service was friendly and fast, and every dish was handmade, hot, and delicious. We tried the following, Potato & Cheese Pierogi - Pillowy and perfectly balanced, with creamy Yukon Gold potatoes, just the right touch of cream cheese, and sweet caramelized onions. A timeless classic done right. Roasted Beets & Goat Cheese Pierogi - Earthy and slightly sweet beets paired beautifully with tangy goat cheese—elegant and unexpected. A must-try for anyone looking for something a little different. Golabki (Stuffed Cabbage) -Rich and savory, with tender pork shoulder and chuck roll wrapped in perfectly cooked cabbage, all simmered in a flavorful tomato sauce. Comfort food at its best. Dill Pickle Soup (V) -Warm, creamy, and brimming with tangy dill flavor—surprisingly refreshing and deeply satisfying. A standout soup that we’d order again in a heartbeat. Every dish impressed us with its flavor and quality. It’s clear this place takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Polish food with heart.

Ok so I wound up eating here by accident because I was initially planning to meet up with my friend elsewhere for dinner. I had no idea I was walking into the delight that was Pierogi Kitchen. Read up on them if you’re from out of town- the reviews are stellar! I do not typically eat pierogis, but the two kinds we got were delicious. We also each got different platters. The entire meal was topped off with phenomenal service and attention to our experience. If you have not been here yet, go soon, and you will not be disappointed.

“I had this on my list to try it was recommended so many times.”
I had this on my list to try it was recommended so many times! They have an excellent happy hour deal - the cheese and potato pierogis and discounted wine or beer - and a great menu overall. The pierogis were well cooked, flavorful, and filling! I wasn’t sure if a plate of 6 would be enough but they were perfect! Staff were really nice and attentive too. The atmosphere is classy, even with the loud children that were haha I’d definitely go again!
